Yuraku Japanese Restaurant of Arlington, VA is the second flagship store which opened in May 2022. Located in the heart of Rosslyn, VA, in the same building as Turnberry Towers, Yuraku Japanese Restaurant strives to serve the freshest sushi, sashimi, and other authentic Japanese cuisines in the area. Happy hours are from Monday through Thursdays, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, and is spacious to accommodate corporate and private events.

My parents like the OG yuraku in Maryland so we gave it a try for her birthday and it had a bit of ups and downs. First, it is really hard if you don’t live in the area because parking is really hard to find. I had to circle around a few times to find a parking spot. Second, the servers were nice but distant for some reason. But overall, we enjoyed the quality of the food and the boat for the group sushi order was a nice touch. I’d recommend it if you’re in the Arlington area and looking for decent sushi.

The sushi was very high quality, extremely fresh and at a good price. There’s an extensive menu selection of unique sushi rolls so you might be overwhelmed but there’ll be at least something you’ll like. The service was very friendly and nice. They even gave us free Yuraku mugs in a gift bag!

Excellent value lunch specials – you get a ton of food. The sashimi deluxe is 10 very thick pieces of sashimi, better quality than anywhere else we’ve found in DC in the last 6 months. We also got the spicy roll special. Two lunch specials are enough to feed 3 people, in my opinion. Very pretty dining room and the outdoor patio is large and covered by large shade trees and umbrellas. We will definitely be coming back for dinner and happy hour to sit outside. We live in Glover Park DC, but this restaurant is definitely worth the ride across the bridge!

Great lunch deals (15-18$ for 3 rolls). Sushi is very good (I got spicy lunch deal). Restaurant was a bit busy so the wait was a bit longer than expected but still only about 15 minutes after the pickup was expected.

We’ve been trying out all the sushi/Japanese restaurants in the area to find our new favorite place and I think this is it. Quality of food was SUPERB, the staff was extremely nice and prompt, and overall a great experience. Appetizers, entrees, and dessert all amazing. Will be coming back many times!! Thank you!
