I’m sorry but this use to be my fav spot, tonight was a disappointment. I ordered my friend some sushi and myself sushi, she was leaving and such an inconvenience, both of our sushis were in one container. You pay so much money for food and they are so cheap! They can’t give the sushi rolls in their own container. It was 2 quantity, in one container. I called to tell them the inconvenience, and their reason was that it was because it is easier for the chef. What in the world!? Is the chef paying?!

The food was really good. We ordered a few sushi rolls, saki and onion soup. The service was really slow. I understand it’s a small place and I think they may have been short on staff. The sushi was great, saki was great, but the onion soup was flavorless. I’ll be back to give it another try.

Doc Who? (Doctor Who?)
Five star sushi is impossible to find in Texas. However, for Houston area, especially for “the ‘burbs,” this was amongst the top three sushi experiences I’ve had …not to mention it was a takeout order! I’ve gone out on a limb in rating both service and “atmosphere” (I prefer “ambience,” since the atmosphere remains uniformly ~78% nitrogen and ~21% oxygen, with a nit of argon and trace others most everywhere on Earth…at least everywhere I’ve visited): I didn’t eat in the restaurant, thus cannot speak reliably to either customer service or ambience.

I ordered here a lot and for a good majority of my orders it came out okay. I’ve never had eel with bones before and the places I’ve tried it from where on the west coast and when I lived in Japan. So, to me it was weird to see bones outside my rolls and it looked sloppy if that’s how they served it. It makes me wonder if they are clean?! The last two times I ordered here in less than three weeks my three year old has had food poisoning. I can confirm as he only vomited the food he ate here, which he has had before months ago with zero issues. Last night I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and once again my son has been throwing up all morning with loads of diarrhea. You shouldn’t see bones just on the outside of a roll. My son shouldn’t be sick from food he’s consuming here that is a major safety concern and they should be taking sanitation extremely serious. I’m currently debating on seeing if my son gets worse to take him to the ER.

Update: I’ve actually changed my review from four stars to five. I hadn’t been there in over a month and ordered the usual Malibu and Friend roll. I noticed that the Malibu roll was not lacking on the salmon! It’s so nice to be able to get amazing sushi that’s close by.
