Jorge opened up his own restaurant after managing Margaritas restaurant in north Topeka and making it a success. His new restaurant in my opinion is much better. The food is great. He added his own twist to the atmosphere and its wonderful. He brought along with him some old employees from the old restaurantthat make the service here spot on. If you are wanting a place to unwind, relax and have a great dining experience then Jorges is the place for you. I promise you will be back. A nice selection of beer and drinks. Amazing food, excellent service and the best atmosphere in Topeka. The fajita taco salad was great and the chile relleno is the best I’ve had in eastern Kansas. Get the Churros. You won’t/will regret it.

I have been to Jorge’s numerous times and plan to go many more! I have been trying to have a new dish every time and have not found one that has not been superb yet. The service is always great even when they are busy and the newly redone interior is always kept spotlessly clean. Just a tip for anyone who likes a bit more heat as well, they do have a habenaro and tomatillo salsa that are excellent but must be asked for.

Food was good, the Chorizo queso and Shrimp fajitas nachos were really good. My husband said the beef nachos were good, nothing special. My little one really enjoyed his bean burrito and the salsa. Thought it was silly there was only American food in the kids menu, so we just ordered a la carte.

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. Everything I have had there is delicious! The chips – oh my goodness, these chips are phenomenal. They are so crispy and thin. The guacamole and pico de gallo are SO flavorful!

What a great freakin “family”! Jorge, his wife and son Jorge Jr. make this restaurant a welcoming and friendly atmosphere worth visiting. Food with tasty the portions were just right for the price. Want to come back into town I would definitely visit this place again. The only downside is our first waiter was very difficult to understand and by no means had the friendly and outgoing personality of Jorge or Jorge Jr.. Things come and go so quickly in Topeka, I do hope this one sticks around. Please go visit them!

Sadly I’ve only had the pleasure of enjoying the food, staff and atmosphere a couple of times, but each time was superb! Had a bit of a wait as Jorge’s is always hoppin’ busy! Our meals were delicious, service was friendly and quick! Looking forward to my next meal from Jorge’s!
