We have eaten here several times and enjoyed it. It is a sports bar so it is very loud and usually pretty crowded. But most of the time, because of the large dining room and bar, there is not a wait. The service is ok. Usually rushed but friendly. They have fun indoor arcade games and outside cornhole to play. The food, bar food and Cajun specialities, is delicious. The Lemon Butter Chicken and Shrimp and Grits are both favorites of mine. My daughter likes the bang bang shrimp tacos. With kids meals they serve them in a frisbee to take home. But the consistency of proper cooking needs work. Sometimes the food is fresh and hot, and other times you can tell it has been sitting under a heat lamp. My husband’s jumbo blackened shrimp on his salad tonight were so tough and overcooked he could barely chew them. My pressed Cajun poboy was good except the shrimp were small and completely unseasoned. Not blackened like I expected or even seasoned with salt and pepper. Gumbo was delicious and I highly recommend. I have had the King Cake Martini before which was fun and tasty. The desserts are much too sweet, especially the donut bread pudding, but my kids liked it, of course! Overall, we will go back but I hope they work on properly cooking their seafood and maybe being a little bit more personable and attentive with service (we didn’t get any refills or silverware until after all our food was delivered). Then I think they could be 5 stars! ⭐️

I went here. First time. Took my ex wife to enjoy a new meal. And the food was cooked so good. The lady helping us order our food was mega nice and tall and unique. It was a good time. Got my moneys worth and imma keep talking cause I gotta make this a detailed review. Which is 250 characters. So maybe I’m there. Or almost there. Great food. Terrible, awful service. We came on a Sunday around 3pm when it was relatively dead. Family of 4. We were seated quickly but it took at least 5-10 (felt like forever) mins for our waitress to come and greet us. She took our drink and app order without a smile or any congenial attitude whatsoever and quickly brought out our appetizer. After we nearly finished our app she had to be reminded to bring glasses of water and silverware to our table. She took our food order and the food came promptly and was cooked perfect. The kitchen is obviously great. The bar drinks (brought by the bartender) were great and came quick and with a smile. Our waitress was terrible. She is lucky we tipped at all. On a $124 ticket, we tipped $5 and that’s only because we feel bad leaving nothing. She deserved nothing. If you hate your job that much, find a different job. We tip very well for great service and sadly, we didn’t get that level of service here. The food is good but if you are looking for great service, look elsewhere. There are tons of great local spots where the staff goes above and beyond.

Had the Tuscan chicken the two pieces of chicken were flavorful but hammered on the ends because the meat was unevenly sliced so it was good on one end not edible on the other. The salsa was unseasoned tomatoes nothing else, very acidic, I scraped them off. Potatos also good, green beans some good, some overcooked. I went because it was walking distance to my hotel. Won’t try this establishment again.
