This place has so many amazing reviews and I’ve been wanting to try for so long so I finally did. And I have to say, I was not a fan of the food. The Taco Box itself is so cute and the people who work there are very nice. So points for that! But the carne asada “taco” I got was very strange and not what I was expecting. It is more of a pizza and just didn’t taste right to me. I only ate about half of it and didn’t feel well the rest of the evening. The chips with pico and guacamole were disappointing as well. The pico was okay but the guacamole tasted like the kind you get at the store in the refrigerated section. Small portion too. I paid $20 for everything and overall, I just wasn’t impressed. Not to say that someone else won’t enjoy it, but if you are wanting traditional tacos like I was, this isn’t the spot.

Ok. So it’s a little hard to see from Child St but just park near Del’s and look across that side street. Now, for the food: Holy heck good! The taco shell is more like a pizza dough, a traditional Navajo style taco. I got the chicken and my bf got the steak specials. The meats were awesome. $8for one but it’s like 9in in diameter and packed so it fills you up. The brick oven is a nice touch.

I wasn’t sure what to get so I asked them what they suggest which was the steak taco. And I’m glad I went and tried it. The food was very good and very filling. I deliver right next door all the time so expect to see me back will also pass the message to co-workers and maybe bring you more business keep up the great work and good food
