I am extremely disappointed with Augies to go. I always make sure to go to Augies to go on Monday and Friday because they have a great chicken parm and eggplant parm special those days. The eggplant and chicken parm are always very enjoyable so I figured I would try splurging on one of there more expensive dinners. I had trust that if there specials were so good then their regular entrees had to just be amazing. BOY WAS I WRONG! I decided to order the chicken marsala and I must say it was honestly appalling and a complete waste of my time and money!! I knew I was skeptical of the dish once I got it home and saw that the chicken was just covered in tons of oil and soaking in this strange liquid sauce. I am Italian and come from a big Italian family so I knew something was wrong when I seen the sauce was liquid because any Italian knows that chicken marsala is suppose to have a creamy like sauce. However, I looked past the weird liquid sauce and thought maybe it was just a new twist on the dish and decided to give it a chance. Well I should of never given it a chance !! The chicken was completely flavorless and looked unappetizing as you can see from the photo I attached. In conclusion, I paid 29.95 plus tax for flavorless chicken soaked in liquid sauce so please don’t make the same mistake as me !

What a deal! What a great way to treat yourself to a cooked meal. Food is so expensive in Saratoga and they offer great deals. On top of that the staff is amazing and so kind. Remember to tip them even tho it’s To-go!

Excellent food and generous portions. Saying portions are for 2 people is too low, portions are more for 3-4 people. Not that you’ll mind the leftovers! Mussels were fantastic if a bit spicy. The ravioli were to die for and the chicken parmesan was perfect! We will visit again!

I stumbled upon this place driving back to the hotel and I saw homemade cannoli and had to stop. I bought two, made fresh of course, and started salivating and wanted to get a mini to eat on the way to the car. Catherine offered me one, for free, that she just started making for a customer that changed their mind. I gladly accepted and gobbled it up walking back to the car. Wow one of the best cannolis i have ever had and I knew I would be back each day for another.

Big fan of the kitchen sink platter, however they seem to have changed the recipe. Now instead of using large and flavorful shrimp it looks as if we’re taking shortcuts and using very very small shrimp that was hard and much different flavor.

Great value! Love the take out specials. I’ve heard that the food here isn’t as good as the other location but that was not my experience. Definitely feeds 4 people at least. The take out bread was a little too hard and the salad was too small for 4 people. Easy ordering ahead on the mealeo website before they opened.
