Best Sushi in Vegas and the staff is amazing! Seiko is a treasure, she gave the best food recommendations and went above and beyond for my elderly mother! I’d say stay away so I could have shorter wait times, but it’s truly worth waiting for!

First time visiting on a Saturday and there was a 25 minute wait at 1:30 pm. Once we got in, we knew everything we wanted based on their to-go menu and everything came out quick and hot. Miso was good and the rest was also amazing. We didn’t know our order was messed up until we were signing our check and another plate came out. Seems one of our plates was switched but we had no room to eat at this point but we boxed it up and left. Great experience and we’ll be back again in the future.

Much improved! I’ve come here periodically over the years, and this used to be a lackluster a la carte sushi spot with passable food. I’m not sure what made it change but WOW this place is night and day better. The food was incredibly well prepared (and fast! Never gotten a sushi order back this fast), the menu was interesting, and the service was good, while they were very slow to make initial contact with us. A great option for sushi in the northwest!

Oh my goodness. All you can eat sushi at its finest! We loved almost everything we tried! We actually didn’t love a few other their hot items like ‘The Shit’, it just wasn’t what we thought. Over all though we cleared our plates and left very happy!

Thank you Tik Tok! My boyfriend and I wanted to eat at restaurants outside the strip and we were excited to find Umami. After we were sat, we were confused about which items were AYCE, but the server quickly told us the whole menu was except a few items. Jackpot! We started with bulgogi, shrimp tempura, the dragon roll and a hand roll filled with salmon. The food arrived in a very timely manner and tasted superb. After we were finished, the plates were cleared away quickly. Second round consisted of sun on the beach roll, the sh*t roll, and yuzu yellowtail, garlic tuna, eel, and salmon nigiri. The nigiri just melted in our mouth! Lastly, we had ice cream for dessert, and the macha green tea is a must! For AYCE sushi less than $30 a person, I will gladly book another flight to Vegas.

I had a fantastic experience at Umami Sushi. It was a little pricey for all you can eat. And they would not do separate checks. It was a little disappointing that we could not pay separate.

Absolutely the place to go for sushi! You may have to wait on a Friday night but it will be worth it! We tried a variety of sushi and each one was as outstanding as our server Andres!! The ambiance is industrial chic. We sat on a long row bench with tables for two dotted across it. A very basic, lightly padded, square box sits across which definitely challenges your posture as there is no backing 😉

I love sushi.. So much that I’m always on a quest to find better sushi than the last place I tried. The first time we came to Umami, we were deterred by the hour-long wait, mostly because we were so hungry. The second time was the charm, as we got lucky and were seated right away as there were mostly big groups waiting. I’ve been living in this part of town for almost 2 years now and can’t believe I waited so long to try Umami.

We were in here YEARS ago and swore we’d never go back. After seeing the current reviews we decided to give it a try again. We weren’t disappointed! All you can eat was a great price. Love that you can order a half roll just in case it’s not something you like. Everything we tried was great! Lobster King Roll, Bonita Señorita, Captain Roll, Dragon Roll, and others. We’ll definitely go back. Our only complaint would be that the music was really, really, loud. Obnoxiously loud. Having a conversation was next to impossible unfortunately.
