This is one of the BEST North End quality Italian restaurants north of the city. The staff was warm and friendly, the quantity of food on the plates were huge and every bite was tasty. Fresh plum tomatoes and fresh seafood in my dish, the arugula pear salad was so good, with the bitterness of the arugula being off set by the sweet pears and blue cheese, the pizza and the desserts were delicious too, Peanut Butter pie and Lemon Cake that was lite and perfect sweetness. We look forward to going back to try other dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a 50th birthday party at Luna Rossa this past weekend. Everything was perfect. David and his staff were terrific in every way from planning to executing. The food was amazing! Everything was so fresh and the homemade pasta is out of this world! If you are planning a gathering definitely give them a call! If you are looking for a night out, you won’t be disappointed.

Strongly recommend this place, at least my first meal was served fast, pasta is made onsite. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the place looks like a great place to have a meal with a significant other, I will return the next time I am in the area.

You won’t find a better Italian restaurant north of the city than this one. The portions were enormous, and every mouthful was delicious. The service was also top-notch. My entrée featured fresh plum tomatoes and seafood, and the arugula pear salad was fantastic because to the combination of sharp arugula with sweet pears and salty blue cheese. The pizza and sweets, particularly the Peanut Butter pie and the Lemon Cake, were also excellent. We can’t wait to return and try more of the menu. This eatery has earned our highest recommendation.

Ordered a special, linguine with clam sauce, shame on me, should have have asked what type of clams, bongos, reminded me of being in Italy, however the rest of the of the clam meat was supersized and like it was cooked in a microwave as it all stuck together, stringy, reminded me of crumbled sausage reheated in a microwave. Homemade pasta was good however didn’t appear to be properly infused in the clam sauce as I was able to pick up the entire linguine “clump” with my fork and it didn’t separate, ugh, always felt you couldn’t go wrong with a special, another wrong on my part. Even mentioned to the bartender, we ate at the bar, dish should not be on the menu, apparently she told the chef, he didn’t care as I would have expected him to come take a look at my clump of fresh homemade pasta.

Team Blue visited Luna Rossa and we were greeted by Dave, the owner. He is so friendly and makes his way to each table to check in on your experience. We got mussels and arancini as an appetizer and they were delicious. The watermelon sangria and espresso martini’s were phenomenal as well. Lastly, we got a cheese pizza and it was the perfect combination of cheese, sauce, and crispiness. Luna Rossa is one of our favorite places and we will definitely be back soon for more!

Done with this overpriced place. 22.00 for a chicken Caesar salad with that was terrible. Asked for chicken on side and they put on top making lettuce warm and wilted. Hardly any dressing or chicken. Maybe 4 strips of chicken. Asked for bread on side was told I couldn’t only sell loafs 7.00. Joke. Place gets worse by the day. See ya! Would NOT recommend you this place.
