I love this place. They have the best french toast I have ever had the pleasure of having. I also love their fried fish. On the downside I am not a fan of their mac n cheese or their candied yams. Overall though I really enjoy their food. The staff are also nice and helpful with recommendations and providing explanations. Oh also make sure you grab some banana pudding for dessert! So dang good.

Delicious food! Had lunch here and ordered the Crispy Whiting plate which came with a couple of fried Whiting fish fillets (I asked for the fish to be fried hard) and two sides: I had the collard green and mac and cheese. The fish was seasoned well and crispy (although not completely boneless). The sides were also tasty. Plenty of tables inside for dining in.

The food is delicious… no complaints . Everything was good greens , Cajun pasta , breakfast sandwich and wigs not pictured and they are .75 cents on Wednesday. I also came on Saturday for brunch and the shrimp and grits are like that and they have slushies too !

I ordered the chicken BBQ sandwich, hot honey wings(my favorite)and banana pudding. The sandwich was burnt and the pudding was not great. The wings were hard and definitely didn’t taste fresh. I love their food most days so I’m not sure what was going on. What I do notice is that different chefs cook the food differently.

First time here and I’m definitely coming back!!! Food was just stellar, amazing customer service and friendly atmosphere! I had the Cajun pasta with grilled chicken, the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich and the candied yams! To drink we got the Arnold Palmer Strawberry Lemonade or the S.A.P. Stellar!!

For my first visit I didn’t get the experience I was hoping for… I ordered spicy collard greens with the cajan fish sandwich and the collard did not have any spice, it was more of a garlic flavor. The portion was nice and the people were great. I will return again just because I believe in trying everything 3* before I make a decision.

I LOVE LOVE the food here! The French toast is a hidden treasure of the city! The salmon cakes make you want to order by the PAN! The atmosphere is contagiously joyful! If you’re in the area this is DEFINITELY a family friendly place to come.

Since I’m down south I was looking for some good SOUL FOOD. The wings are 10 out of 10 fr. The Mac n cheese was good but it was cold. The lemonades were really sweet! So if you like sweet drinks then yeah get it. When we got there they ran out of chicken tenders and ice. The atmosphere was nice and we got the food fairly quickly. We did go on a Friday afternoon though so I assume it will be busier at a different time. I would definitely go back tho. I enjoyed my overall experience.
