Neighborhood restaurant to grab a bite to eat. The parking was very tricky for me. My GPS said I arrived and I’m like confused. Once I visited the website to look at the photo of the building I finally found the restaurant. Free street parking or park behind the building in the complimentary parking lot. I met a friend here for Sunday brunch. I was greeted with a warm welcome. Sonya was our waitress and attentive. The manager stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. It was easy to make a reservation – which I recommend. I was not too thrilled with the brunch menu. We started with a hot shrimp dip that was just ok and the shrimp were hard to find (if there even were any in it). I pieced together my meal that included smoke wood bacon, grits and a biscuit. The grits lacked flavor; the bacon was nice and crunchy; the biscuit was fluffy. My friend devoured his hanger steak.

This is a very cozy spot tucked away in oakhurst. The frittata was a must if you’re debating getting it then I highly recommend it. Their biscuits are also some of the best in ATL. It’s a tiny on the pricier side but also coincides with the quality of the food. You won’t be disappointed!

The food was really unique here, and quite good! The sprouts were an unexpected combo of fruit, cheese, and veggies. Somehow, it all worked so well.

4.5 | wow, I wasn’t expecting to love this place, but it came highly recommended by a trusted friend. the shrimp dip came recommended by a few other reviews here and we ordered two because it was just simply delicious. the meals were enjoyed by all of us. I just had the appetizer shrimp dip and the contender [cocktail], as I wasn’t super hungry.

Scout is a gem!! I love having brunch here in this historic building. It’s beautiful ambiance make it a great place for all occasions. The patios are spacious, and give the restaurant a different feel. My family and I enjoy ordering the pretzel bites that every time we go, we order two! I do have to mention how delicious their regular cup of coffee is.
