The food was good, the poor waitress had a table with 7 kids and 3 adults. The another table and us. At this time there were at least 4-5 other employees just sitting around. She had to bus the tables too. Then all the kids got ice cream , she had to scoop the ice cream herself. It just seems there was no team work. It could have been a lot better with team work.

Will not go to Newport Creamery Coventry ever again. The old fossil working the window. I’m assuming he was a manager messed up my wife’s sundae. She got home and called spoke to the person that she only got 1 scoop in a 2 scoop sundae. The Moron gave her an attitude. He said he gave 2 scoops I looked at it she’s gotten the same sundae over and over again. The idiot Obviously doesn’t know how to count

Been here a countless amount of times and never a bad experience. Of course, always good ice cream. Awful awfuls are a must! But the food here is really good as well. Never had breakfast here, however got to enjoy some today. The Bacon & Cheese Mega Melt was the reason i’m writing this review in the first place. I normally don’t love breakfast in general, however, this sandwich was the most delicious thing ever! No fatty bacon, nicely cooked egg, fresh tomato, american cheese, and texas toast! Very very good. You really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu.

Newport Creamery has always been a stalwart for having good food at reasonable prices but things have changed at this location. Prices have gone WAY up and quality has gone down. Based on the regular menu items that we normally get each time, they have either changed their distributors or have changed from what they used to buy to a cheaper brand that is lower in quality, such as the mozzarella sticks. They are bigger but tasteless. The fries used to be seasoned fries. Not anymore. My wife told the server she was a vegetarian so she wanted the bacon on the side for anything that had bacon in it, and the server says ok, but the quesadilla in the appetizer sampler, which states it’s a cheese quesadilla, not a bacon and cheese quesadilla, had bacon throughout it.

My boyfriend and I stopped by today at 7pm for some ice cream. I told the young lady that I wanted 2 scoops of ice cream on a cone. My boyfriend wanted 1 vanilla/oreo Awful Awful. They slapped a container with 2 scoops in it. I was confused. I thought it was build your own cone for a second.. in a polite tone, I told her I wanted it on a cone. The girl who took our order told her to just scoop it out and put it in a cone, in a nasty tone. I was bothered because I wasn’t rude and they were the one who got the order wrong, but I didn’t say anything. It was busy and they were probably frustrated. I get it. When we were getting checked out, she put 2 Awful Awfuls on the counter. Again, not in a rude way, we told her we only wanted 1. She got a real nasty attitude, “Didn’t you say you wanted an oreo and a vanilla.” Like first of all, why do you have to come at your customer like that? There’s no need for that. Just apologize for not taking the orders right or don’t say anything at all. We didn’t appreciate that at all. Took a lot for me to hold my tongue. Not cool. They need to get educated on how to speak to their customers. Aside from that, I liked my ice cream choices (chocolate, cookies and cream). My boyfriend didn’t like his. He said the cookie pieces tasted stale and it was liquidy. He wasn’t sure if the Awful Awfuls are supposed to be? If it wasn’t for the good ice cream. It would be a flat 1 star from me!
