Made us wait 30 min for dine-in order. Only one more table was occupied. On enquiring the reason for so much delay, the server casually mentioned they were focused on app orders. Seemed like takeout is their core and they don’t give two hoots about customers who come for dining. Quite disappointed.

Jesus christ this is the best Idian food I’ve ever had. Ordered the paneer tikka masala. The spice level was perfect. Garlic naan was fresh and gooey yet crispy. Perfection. Great prices for quality of food.

Our favorite Indian place in our neighborhood and all of SF probably. We order and dine in here regularly. Absolutely love the chicken chettinad, chicken tikka masala, and puri chaat! Get the bread basket!

Came here on a Friday evening around 6 pm and was seated right away. We were promptly greeted and seated and asked whether we wanted ice in our water.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in SF. Consistently delicious whether we order takeout or dine in. Rich and dynamic flavors with spice level adjusted to your preference. Medium spice starts packing a punch. Friendly and quick service. Their mango lassi is thick, sweet, & tangy – difficult to put down!

It’s been a few years since I discovered this gem. IMO, they have THE BEST biriyani in town. The daal is also really nice and flavorful. I have to admit it’s been hard to move past the biriyani to try other things on the menu but I’ve tried the samosas, korma, channa masala and liked everything.

Great food. Their chaats are amazing. A good place finally in SF for Indian food. The staff is very friendly. The food is freshly cooked and thus the little waiting time. The pricing is also very reasonable.

The best Indian restaurant I have been to in San Francisco. The dahi puri here is a must try. Also, the tandoori chicken and chole batura are delicious. I have been there a couple of times now and have tried a few dishes and none of them dissappointed me. If you really want to eat good Indian food, make sure to go to Tilak.
