I really love their salads .. I’ve been coming here for years .. one of the times I went the grilled chicken on my salad didn’t look fully cooked .. I thought next time I’ll tell them to make sure the chicken is fully cooked .. but I didn’t .. on my most recent visits .. I noticed the chicken was kind of pale maybe not fully cooked .. well it wasn’t .. the next day I was really sick from my stomach ..

It’s Friday, 5:30 p.m. I am not cooking dinner. The week has been long and I am tired. Who wants a cheese burger and fries?! Me! I pass Stars Drive-in on my way to and from work and it beckons me with the sweet siren song of burgers and fries like I used to get from the diners of my youth. One summer, I waitressed at a dinner that had a grill just for the burgers. I was a terrible waitress but I stuck it out to get my free meal every evening after dinner rush. This isn’t a $15 gourmet burger and foo-foo fries meal. It’s a serious burger and fries meal for people who want to eat where they want to eat and not have to sit in a restaurant with other people. And it’s really good food. No pretensions. No big ego. No “experience” dining. I just wish the dude from the commercials was there, waving a spatula, yelling BIT BY HUNGER? CALL THE SPATULAW!
