My wife’s birthday was expertly served by Angie. She’s extremely knowledgeable and kind. Eric seated us at the window for a beautiful view. The oyster appetizer was innovative and delicious. The swordfish was tender and fresh. We had a memorable time and look forward to our next visit

We had high expectations based on reviews and descriptions. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. Food was good, but not something what you have never tried as described in other reviews. It was also inconsistent. Even bread, when one order was great and another was mediocre. Besides, it was always a feeling that we have to finish as soon as possible since other customers are in line. My “favorite” part was that we were asked to place our order for appetizers and main dishes at the same time since it is “more convenient” for the chief…

Words cannot explain how good the food is here. I have been to many up scale restaurants in my life and this is easily #1 on my list. Chef Ken Vedrinski puts on an absolute experience. Also, the atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. We will be back, already planning another date night. Thank you for making our Anniversary a memorable one.

You HAVE to go to this restaurant! Beautiful ambience and breathtaking view of the ocean from floor to almost ceiling windows. We had an amazing server who was proud of the restaurant and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He provided stellar service.

Group of 18 for dinner and served family-style. Service was excellent and the pace of the meal was perfect. Each of the four courses was wonderful and included antipasta/salad, two pasta dishes, and fish/steak dishes. The chocolate mouse to finish was the best I have tasted. I cannot say enough about the attentive servers that were waiting on us. The only drawback was the noise that our group created with our talking. It may not have been a perfect night for other guests.

The food here was great but the service was pretty disappointing. Maybe because we were the youngest folks in the dining room, but it absolutely felt like the waitstaff made no attempt to engage with us at all. We asked for recommendations, told them it was our first time there, we ordered a ton of food…nada from them as they seemed intent on hustling us out for yet another more lucrative table of boomers in Wild Dunes shirts. Meanwhile, we watched and listened to every other table get great service and recommendations. I get that we aren’t regulars, but what gives? We had made a reservation a month out and were excited to celebrate a special occasion there, which we mentioned in the reservation. No acknowledgment at all…why ask in the reservation notes then? The whole thing felt a little bit like we’d wandered into some septegenarian social club uninvited. Well, message received: we felt unwelcome and won’t return again. The vibes are off if you aren’t pushing 60 or more.

A great favorite for fresh seafood; nothing fried. Only delicious Italian inspired dishes with the best ingredients, expertly prepared. Also, a fantastic wine list. We brought our 11 year old this time to celebrate Daddy’s birthday, and they accomodated her limited palate offering fresh pasta with marinara sauce and parmesan. She ate every bite. We all shared a dessert that was to die for.

I am so glad that I found this gem of a restaurant. Per my request (as I was proposing after dinner) they seated us with the best view of the ocean. Our server Britney was incredibly detailed describing every dish on the menu and was very attentive. The food was nothing short of incredible. We started with the flounder brasicole and a sou vide octopus salad which initially knocked our socks off. Our pasta dish was the Gnudi which is like gnocchi but made with ricotta instead of potatoes. I can’t even describe how incredible it was as it melted in our mouths with the exceptional brown butter sauce that it was in. Our main courses really impressed us as my tile fish dish had so many different flavors that made my brain erupt with disbelief in what I was tasting. My fiance had the veal dish which was literally the best veal I’ve ever seen/eat. Normally when you get veal in a restaurant it’s pounded really thin and fried. Coda del pesce gives you TWO generous thick, very tender cutlets in a tomato sauce that is to die for. This will be a restaurant that we will visit any time we are in the Charleston area. So glad I found this place. They do an amazing job. High end food and drinks at amazing prices with top notch service and accommodations. If I could give it 10 stars I gladly would. Bravo

We’ve always had phenomenal meals at Coda Del Pesce, but tonight we were extremely disappointed. We were served very fishy tile fish and couldn’t even finish the plate. The first time we ever came here the tile fish was unbelievably good and we’ve been looking forward to it ever since. Every time we come, tile fish is not on the menu until tonight and it was a giant let down. Unfortunately we may be looking for a new birthday/special occasion spot.

really really good food! everything is made fresh to order and you can definitely taste the quality and freshness of every plate. Will definitely be coming back again. Additionally, our waiter Bill was outstanding! Portions aren’t the largest, but not small by any means either, and that’s expected at a fine dining experience.
