Best downhome Japanese food in the Boulder-Niwot-Longmont area. There’s at least one high end Japanese restaurant in the area that is superior, but so are it’s prices! Sachi reminds me more of a local mom and pop shop in Japan rather than the typical sushi place in the states. They have very reasonable prices and a warm, friendly smile from all the staff including the sushi chef. They often have daily specials such as uni and Japanese mackerel. I usually get the chirashi deluxe and it’s very good, with high quality fish and expert presentation every time. They layer seaweed and egg between the fish and rice, which isn’t something I’ve seen in the States before, but I find I like it more than the more traditional presentations. We are going back soon for Ramen Sunday and hope the ramen is as good as the sashimi!!

Small sushi shop (inside the grocery store) with a focused menu of rolls, nigiri, and udon. Great for a casual night out and still want something delicious! They have ramen only on select days, so be sure to look out for that.

This is the very Best Japanese restaurant in the area. I come visit my mom from Oregon couple of times a year and this is the only place I want to go for sushi. The chef is such a charm and wonderful person. You can tell he loves his job.

Second try for Sunday Ramen at the local sushi place. Not bad at all – rich flavorful soy based tonkotsu broth. Noodles a bit too soft for my liking but at least not mushy. Also would have preferred the egg yolk a bit more runny. Extra point for addition of red pickled gingers. Would come back.

They are located in the Niwot market, order at the counter and they bring it to you. Everyone was so kind, the food was so flavorful and delicious!! Some dishes are only offered on certain days of the week. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Sachi Sushi is my favorite place to get Sushi or ramen. The food is delicious and great quality. I had chirashi sushi, green tea, and some strawberry milk this time, but the ramen is always worth considering on any Sunday. I love the atmosphere, the service, and the food. Whether I’m grabbing something to take out while shopping at the market or sitting down with friends to catch up while eating a meal, Sachi Sushi is the best!
