So I’ve ordered from this place before, and I’ve never had a bad experience till recently. I ordered from Door dash just when they opened, so that could’ve been the problem. The food tasted like the leftovers they had the day before. You know, JUST FRIED plantains when you taste them, and this was not it. The OX/rice tasted warmed and was put in the bowl without care about presentation. Although dissatisfied, I will say the natural juices are Always good.

Not bad…but not good either. So, so…the Jerk Chicken so lathered in sauce that tasted like it came from a bottle you can buy at Walmart. The Ox tail was decent but rice and peas are dry and the beef patty wasn’t fresh and tasted like it was reheated. I can’t recommend but it wasn’t terrible.

So I just moved to Burlington and was excited to try this place. I ordered delivery and first off it was HOT. Which I love. Everything was fresh. The beef patty I got was amazing. Oxtail were falling off the bone rice had just enough of that delicious gravy and they had a great portion size. I ordered a large oxtail with rice and beans and cabbage and had enough for 2-3 meals. I got a size of plantains that weren’t as fresh as the rest of my food but they were still good. I am definitely going to be eating here again!!!!! Seriously I never do reviews but I had to let y’all know!

I was so disappointed in my meal. I ordered the oxtail, collard greens with rice and beans. The oxtail was chewy/rubbery, collard greens I couldn’t even stomach they had a lemon juice taste to them. The rice was soft and crunchy. I paid $22 dollars on complete disappointment. I ended up trashing the entire thing. What a waste of money.

Everything was absolutely delicious. Except the fries. They were horrible lol, but you didn’t even notice from how good everything else was. My husband got the Oxtail (Medium) and it was literally perfect and was served over rice and beans. I got the Jerk Chicken (Medium) and it was excellent, but just to give fair warning, it definitely is a bit spicy. It was too spicy for my husband, but he doesn’t usually eat spicy anyway. I got the side of mac. It was incredible! Cheesy and flavorful, without conflicting with the flavors of the chicken. They also threw in a little container of a sauce of some sort. It was probably the best thing they sent lol. Definitely will be ordering here again!

Just went here for lunch and ordered the jerk chicken with Rasta pasta! The dish was outstanding! Spice level wasn’t too crazy. I got the medium size and it was so much food! Will definitely be back

The food was delicious and its a family ran business. I like coming to mom and pop restaurants, because the food is authentic. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was super clean. I’m looking forward to coming back. I definitely recommend coming to eat here of you live in the area or are just driving through.
