We started with miso soup which was pretty bland. We got two rolls each. Rainbow roll and Cali roll and Vegas and surf and turf roll. I would say these are pretty mediocre taste wise. The Vegas was the best of all, the others were just ok. Surf and turf was pretty burnt unfortunately but we were very hungry. It took a while to get our food and our drink was forgotten until I reminded. Probably would not come back.

I highly recommend this place for a special date night or for the whole family! Staff there are very energetic wether you are at a table or sitting at the hibachi grill. I recommend the Gyoza (pork and chicken dumplings) as a starter. I enjoyed the “dinner for two” dish with my wife, including beef, lobster, chicken, shrimp, side of rice, mixed vegetables, soup and a salad for $59.95! It came with more food than we could eat. I do recommend coming early to get a table or making a reservation in advance as this place is not short of customers. I will be coming back!

My husband and I came here for lunch recently, we come to Hamburg pretty frequently and had never been here before. Unbeknownst to us, as we came in, they were about to close for their in-between lunch and dinner break. Nonetheless, they still very graciously sat us and the service was exceptionally friendly and quick! We ordered a few rolls of sushi and they were all delicious and definitely hit the spot! We will definitely come back perhaps to try the hibachi.

We got sushi here and it was amazing. They have a very wide selection and its not too expensive. The service is great and the food comes in about 3-7 min. They have very good vegetarian selections for the same price as the normal rolls. It is very organized and well decorated. The restrooms are clean and in stock of all the necessities. I would recommend this place to all ages.

Tekka is the only Japanese restaurant that we go to in Lexington. The food is always excellent and flavorful. Even without the entrée I could eat the soup and salad all day. So delicious. We have never had a bad food experience here. The service is usually on point as well. Some of the chefs are more animated than others but still always a great experience. I will say that I have had their sushi and I prefer Aqua but that’s just personal preference.

The hibachi grill was great. The teriyaki chicken was very tender. The artistic talent of the chef was very well done. I will have to get the recipe for the yum yum sauce. But the food was superb.

The appetizers were extremely mid. Miso soup need more miso or something it was a little watered in my opinion I’ve definitely had better, but it wasn’t bad. Sushi was good needed to be cut in smaller pieces no human has a mouth that big. I mean it just wasn’t something you could eat gracefully if you were out with someone, and no one wants to be that guy who’s whipping out a fork to eat their sushi. What really made up for the inconsistencies with the food though was the INCREDIBLE service. I mean top notch my waiter was the NICEST man I have ever encountered in the restaurant industry. He knew what we needed before we even asked, he quietly answered our questions we were asking each other about the dishes the table across from us ordered, and he was extremely polite and accommodating.
