My parents and family have gone here for so many years. When it was the old owner the place was amazing but now there’s flies flying around the joint they brought out cold food missing half of their order and then mocked and disrespected them when they let the waitresses and cook know that they missed food. Overall the place went down hill.

Ended up here after other options were closed for Juneteenth holiday — I thought the food was good, prepared as ordered but after spouse went to rest room she was ready to escape.

When we first arrived we were given paper menus that were hard to read and were just unattractive copies of a menu which should have been a red flag. First impressions are everything so I really recommend they ditch the ugly cheap photocopied paper menus for at least a decent looking paper menu or a nice laminated menu. The waitstaff were really nice which is basically the only thing they have going for themselves. I hate to write bad reviews but I felt this needed to be said. We ordered two sprites and they were completely flat and didn’t taste like sprite. I think their fountain machine is not working properly and tastes like it needs to be cleaned properly. We switched our drinks for cans of root beer. The waitress was nice about it and acted like it happens all the time because the soda from the fountain must always suck. We had to wait a really long time- over thirty min for eggs. We didn’t mind waiting but then when the food came it definitely was not worth the wait. I could make better food at home for a third of the cost. I ate here years ago and I thought it was really good. This time not so much. The best thing was probably the buttered toast. My corned beef hash was just dumped onto the grill out of a can and flipped once so the whole inside was mush, the home fries tasted like boiled potatoes with no seasoning or onions or anything. The French toast was made using regular thin sliced bread and had no flavor- no cinnamon, no vanilla just dipped in egg and then a little powdered sugar on top, my daughter got scrambled eggs with cheese and it was literally scrambled eggs with a square slice of American cheese just thrown on top, not mixed in or anything. My boyfriend got blueberry pancakes and they were not good either – they were completely blue and you could tell it was because they probably used frozen blueberries. The crowd was mostly a lot older so maybe they prefer bland plain food but we will not be returning and I would not recommend to anyone.

I haven’t lived in Woonsocket for terribly too long. But in my time here I’ve tried every breakfast place the city has to offer. George’s not only beat the competition on every front, they straight up demolish it. Go here. Eat, drink, be merry.

Really great breakfast place. Food was very fresh and not greasy or overcooked. Had broccoli and cheese omelet with hash browns and grilled English muffin. Important note though is a CASH ONLY business but prices very reasonable compared to other places we’ve recently had breakfast. Sorry no pictures but I will go back and next time I’ll get pictures to add in to posting.

George’s has been the go to for a while now. Usually spot on, but there are days when they are busy things get a little flustered. Overall, always a good experience and the food is always good.
