Truthfully, I think the main issue is that the place is well understaffed. Thankfully, I was staying at the hotel so I was in no rush to get home or worry about anything. Our waiter was super friendly (I think it was Navin? Could be spelling it wrong)

This restaurant is sooo pretty! The food is very good as far as quality and there are many different choices and selections on the menu. You most definitely cannot beat the view! Overlooking the ocean in beautiful Long Beach, Long Island, NY directly situated on the Boardwalk. Whether you like to people watch or watch the sunset this place covers it all.

Tonight, The Atlantica provided me with one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. To start, the waitress just kind of stood next to our table and quietly asked us if we wanted water and if tap, sparkling, or still is good. When she returned with our water she stood there again quietly while we were looking at the drink menu and didn’t even ask if we wanted to order a drink. We ordered a couple alcoholic drinks. When she came back with our drinks, she took our food order, and it was at this point she introduced herself as our waitress for the night.

Sat at the bar but the food was spectacular, had the French onion soup it was perfection. I ordered the scallops OMG so so good. Def recommend the scallops, I was completely satisfied! Def will be back again soon.

Wanted to take a moment to say that my wife and I had dinner here this evening and everything was spectacular. The service, ambiance and food were all beyond our expectations. We had the Pretzel for an app and it was delicious! I had the Ribeye, medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I absolutely recommend if you’re in the area looking for some upscale semi-casual dining. Raul, Ana and the sous-chef were all great!

I’ll get right to it. We were seated and had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks, not even water was served, followed by a 45 minute wait for our appetizers; and yet another 45 minutes for our main course We were told the kitchen was backed up, however, upon surveillance of the restaurant there were maybe 4 other tables occupied. Backed up? I said. Waitress said, well it was a little while ago. SMH.

My wife and I decided to enjoy the warm January day and stroll the boardwalk in Long Beach. Since we were hungry, we decided to grab a bite at the Atlantic Hotels restaurant. Usually I’m a bit leery of hotel restaurants. The food tends to be so so and overpriced.

Nice setting on the boardwalk, but the service is terrible and slow. Took 30 minutes just to get drinks delivered. Waitress seemed to need instruction. Food good once it arrived. Took over 2 hours for us to eat at 730 on Sunday night.
