The food is Italian and seafood – pizza, pasta, calzones. The grouper finger sandwich was excellent. Definitely get the Napoleon dessert – amazing. Great service. Nice outside seating. We will be back.

My wife and I had been to this building several years ago when it had a different sign on the door and were very disappointed. Today, we decided to revisit and experience the new concept and menu. From the minute we entered , not only the color of the paint but the floor was clean and the air smelled of good food. From start to finish, everything was great. Our server, Alexis was a big help guiding with the extensive menu . We will be back.

I’ve been coming to the Manatee Pocket for decades and have been to the previous restaurant many times. Decided to try the new Mangia Clam Bar and was so pleasantly surprised when I realized it was an Italian restaurant. We’ve already got plenty of seafood restaurants in the Port Salerno Historic District so this is a great addition and adds some diversity to the cuisine options. Food was great! Hostess was lovely and servers were fabulous. The Summer Specials also provided a great value. Wishing this new addition to the Pocket the very best of luck!

Visit #1- Went on a Monday night for Trivia! Had the Calamari and Clams oregano for snacks – both were very good! Marinara was perfect! Love the calamari heads! Waiter was attentive and always within eyesight!

Stopped here for a quick drink and ended up staying a few hours since it was on the water and had live music. This is actually an Italian restaurant with pastas and things. We did not eat but we will deff be trying the food next time. Just opened not to long ago, was another restaurant. Great bartender, met a lot of awesome locals. Doggo friendly at the outside bar, great place for a quick drink or stay and enjoy the atmosphere
