Definitely solid BBQ and some of the best I’ve had on the island! Done in Texas style albeit more reserved on the black pepper! Brisket and pork were cooked really well, though the slices I got this time were a mixture of perfect and some dried out edges. Fantastic atmosphere though, in a prime location. Definitely a repeat stop for a reasonably priced delicious meal!

Fantastic place for great smoked and BBQ meats in the Hamptons.

In my opinion, the best BBQ on Long Island. I always make a point to stop here on the way out or way home from Montauk, but I’ll always make the trip. Awesome atmosphere and ridiculously good food. Definitely a laid back vibe, as opposed to most other places in the Hamptons, so everyone is welcome.

Today we took my daughter’s friend and the rest of the family out to Montauk just to walk around. We do this a couple of times a year.

Brisket was amazing as well as the pulled pork. Beans were good Cole slaw okay and collard greens very salty. Service was fast and friendly. We would go back again for sure!!

The spicy barbecue sauce is the best I’ve ever eaten. That’s saying a lot from this southern girl raised on Memphis bbq! Generous portions, good slaw. Didn’t love that the bun got soggy extra fast and that the meat was more chopped than pulled, but the flavor was spot-on, so all is forgiven. A la carte ordering at the counter, make your own drink, and seat yourself. Very clean and a friendly staff. Was nice to be greeted when we walked in and spoken to as we left. The napkins also get 5 stars. High fives to whoever made that call.

Solid bbq no matter your choice of protein. The wings are decent. The Buffalo fries and anything you put the hot honey sauce on is great!.

This quaint little BBQ spot off the main road en route to Montauk provides the nourishment of American country culture. Sitting adjacent to a farmland meadow, the scenery offers a country backdrop for perfect for photos. The interior decor feels like you stepped into Texas or Nashville, a much needed escape from the bustling city life of NY boroughs. With its friendly service, Townline has established itself among Hollywood celebrities that own their vacation home in the area for a filling BBQ meal. Their signature loaded buffalo fries are must get. Along with their brisket sandwich and cheeseburger (which comes in both single or double patties). The bar area provides a good space to settle and wind with a pint size Pilsner beer! Special thanks to Jill and Dave for the memorable service!

Stopped by one evening with my wife. Past many times but never stopped. Have to have it is some of the best BBQ on the Southfork. I had the St Louis Style Ribs with bake beans. The ribs were very tastey. The spicy BBQ I preferred over the original BBQ. Their beer section was also very good. Have to say I would go back. Like the deli style ordering and self wrap station. Was not expecting that but both are time savers!
