Seriously the best breaded shrimp I’ve ever had! I came all the way out there and found that a lot of stores were closing early at the Berlin mart on a Thursday but they stayed an extra moment and made sure I got my shrimp! It was so good and fresh I can’t be mad I only got to go to the Berlin mart for shrimp lol. Awesome place!

I just ate the best garlic shrimp I’ve ever eaten in my life! It’s my first time eating here and I will come to the Berlin auction just to get these shrimp again! Also, the fresh lemonade was very good, and the waitress was very pleasant!

Their food maybe good I didn’t get a chance to buy any to eat. But their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!! I didn’t know exactly where to place my order so I stood near where a gentleman was. The two people that was working that day both saw me and not once did they ask or say where I needed to place my order. Then when I said to the lady that I was here before a person that had came after me,then they both came at me hollering “WELL THAT’S WHAT THE SIGN IS FOR!!” So I replied WOW no customer service! Then the man said “WHATEVER!”

We always buy raw oysters and seafood chowder or whatever soup is available that day. Usually crowded, but early afternoon today there was no line and had the opportunity to have a nice conversation with the owners.

don’t spend your money at this place… wouldn’t give me a cup of water for my dog in 90 degree weather, after me and my family were spending $60+ for lunch, you can’t trust a place that won’t give you a 5 cent cup after spending so much. the employees made a big deal over it, and had an attitude over asking if the clams were fresh or not

This was my first time going to this clam bar and mind you I had one of the worst experiences at this place. I had ordered 3 dozen of clams for a family member of mine and myself , and we wanted them on the half shell. So when I get to the counter I repeat the order of wanting three dozen of clams on the half shell. Then, after that the manager or whoever which was some old blond lady started asking a bazillion questions as to how I wanted my clams, while I originally wanted them on the half shell which according to my cousin should be automatically served raw with the meat still on the shell hence HALF shell so I don’t know where the other 1 trillion questions came from. I noticed the guy or her husband was handling the clams with no gloves or washing his hands prior to preparing the clams. I received raw clam meat in 3 containers with some type of white cloudy “broth” with 12 empty shells in a separate bag, which was the complete opposite of what I wanted but I just brushed it off. Long story short the next day I had received nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea which resulted in me calling out of work. My cousin just received stomach cramps, but I got hit the hardest with becoming ill. I called the place back up, and explained my situation. That same blond lady that served me the previous night before was very dismissive about the situation and refused to refund my money. Insinuated that maybe I just had a “bad stomach” and whatnot. I’m so disgusted with the customer service and will not be returning to this place ever again.
