We went for our first time based on recommendations from other people. The food was so great. We had the 3 taco plate and hatch green chili pork burrito. The service was fast. We would definitely go back and recommend them to anyone looking for great Mexican food. There was a local artist there painting. She was very nice and helpful.

As a native New Mexican, I’m always wary of places in Utah that advertise as being NM food. BUT this place is literally a taste of home! I had TEARS IN MY EYES after just seeing the green chile cheeseburger and the taste was heavenly!!! We’ve already gone back for more! This chef has gone to great lengths to bring an authentic taste of the 505 to Salt Lake!

I got the Christmas burrito (half chili verde and half chili Colorado. I chose the hatch chili Verde pork for the filling. I enjoyed the savory flavor of both. After my meal, they gave me a free sopa with honey and sent me on my way with a free jar of salsa.

I went to one of the food trucks. $6.50+tax for 5 of the smallest churros I have ever seen. I was completely caught off guard for a $1.30 churro the size of a large french fry. But did the taste make up for the cost? No, it didn’t.

Please do yourself a favor and try Green Chile House! They have THE BEST New Mexico style food with an insane amount of flavor! I haven’t had a single thing off the menu that I haven’t loved, and I literally CRAVE their chicken tacos!

We tried their food truck and it was absolutely amazing!! Once we went went to their brick and mortar they instantly became my favorite place for mexican food! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and happy to answer any questions! The food is authentic and fresh!! It’s definitely a must try!
