The Food here is truly amazing! If you’re looking for real authentic Korean bbq, look no further! Everything, from their wings, fried rice, even the sides of Korean potato salad is sooo good. The kimchi is to die for ! It’s fresh, spicy and tasty. The wine selection is also superb! You’ll be pleasantly surprise at how awesome the food is.

Worth a visit. The service is great and waiters are friendly. We ordered a few fimilar dishes like short rib kalbi, spicy pork, bipbimpap, and Jiang Jiang noodle. The bipbimpap has the burnt rice flake at the end which is classic. The spicy pork has a lot more fat then usual which caused thier loss of star iin my opinion. Both Jiang Jiang noodle and kalbi are pretty standard. The only other point being deductible is msg. I prefer better and more ingredients rather than adding artificial chemical. A bit pricey on average. Overall, it is worth visiting.

I am Korean and my husband is really picky about Korean BBQ. We had no hope for Korean restaurant around Tampa but WE FOUND THE AMAZING PLACE!! We love the food and meats. All side dishes are absolutely delicious! I live in Wesley Chapel and it is a bit far. But IT IS WORTHY! We will definitely be there again. Maybe once a month Highly Recommend!!!

Overall, our experience at Matjoa was amazing. Cocktails were made to our expectation and service was wonderful. We ordered a few appetizers which included the seafood pancake. Highly recommend. Our dinner portions were generous. We brought home half our dinner and appetizers. I got the spicy chicken stone bowl. Everything was fresh and had great flavor. Nothing was greasy or oily. Highly recommend this place.

Dolsot bibimbap was amazing! The bowl was just the right temp to lightly crust the rice and portions were perfect. Side dishes had loads of flavor, and paired with the boiled egg and lettuce wraps you have a fantastic meal. 10/10 will come here every time I’m in town.
