Nice atmosphere. Not impressed with the food. Had to wait almost an hour for our food and then half our people got served and then half didn’t. Sides were served without main entrées and then by the time the main food got there, the rest of the food was cold. Had to eat with our fingers, it wasn’t until a different staff member noticed, they finally got us plastic silverware. Couldn’t get extra napkins. Just that one thin one that comes in the plastic bundle. Great place to sit and smoke and drink….. would NOT recommend the food.

My friend introduced me to this new place and this might be my new spot. There were 4 in our group and everyone said they’d return. We didn’t drink but one ordered a hand crafted fruit punch that was great! I’ve never had mac&cheese bites before but theirs was a great first impression! I think the graffiti really made set the vibe (& we met the artist) and therefore it stood out over other places. Also, it’s 2 stories one of which had a lounge feel

I wish I could give it 5 stars but I have to give it 3. I showed up to this place for the pizza cause the photos looked so good, but when I got there they didn’t have pizzas, salads and a few other things on the menu. Therefore, I had to settle for the red snapper sandwich. The Rasta pastas were good also but please have pizza. I was really excited about coming here, just don’t promote something on the menu that you don’t have.

Ordered a large order. Every last thing was nasty. Curry chicken had no taste. They just put curry seasoning. It was dry. Rice dry. Ordered bk wings and the breading was way toooo thick and it just wasn’t edible. Overall it was a waste of money….. b

What can I say food was great, service wasn’t bad and the atmosphere was cool to say it was after 12am. The food chef patec boss seeesh you did that. If you ever up late night in search of good eats and a nice vibe this is your spot, 2 bars 1 upstairs with the lounge area 1 down stairs with the more restaurant feel. Lots of TV, games, and hookah.

Not sure what is up with all the negative reviews on this place but my husband and I visited Brklyn Kitchen for his birthday and had a great time.

As much as I wanted to like this place the entire experience was disappointing. The interior definitely has potential but the design fell flat. The furniture was cheap and flimsy, I watched people accidentally kick over the small tables all night. The servers looked overwhelmed even though the place was not packed. One of the servers that delivered the hookah walked up the to the table and just stood there in silence holding the hookah until we asked her if she could sit it on the table. I ordered two shots of Hennessy which I ended up paying $30 for. When I asked why the price was so high I was given the run around, when I finally received my debit card back and was told to sign the total on the receipt was now $37, I asked where the extra fees came from and was told they charged extra if you pay with a debit card. I explained to the server that she could’ve communicated that with me before swiping my card and she shrugged her shoulders and said “well sorry” and walked off to complain to the manager about it. I walked over to the manager and explained the lack of communication myself and he said nothing at all, not one ounce of respect or professionalism was shown. I don’t mind paying for quality service or even overpriced drinks as long as the experience is worth my time and money but this was absolutely disappointing and I will never come here again.

Let me preface this with as a fellow Brooklynite, I appreciate this Brooklyn-inspired restaurant and lounge. And, true Brooklynites will agree that the name should’ve been “Bklyn” not “Brklyn,” but moving on. This place in no way captures the essence of Brooklyn.
