Steamed rice tastes a bit weird, the Sweet N Sour sauce is very bland (like it was watered down.) The sesame chicken’s batter was very thick leaving it with an uncomfortable texture. The fried rice was undersalted. That being said, the egg rolls and hot n sour soup were decent. Overall, it was bland, and awkward tasting chinese food. Not worth the price. I wouldn’t suggest this place to any of my family or friends. Try a different Chinese food place.

1st time visiting – You place your order at the counter, then can eat there or take out. Plates come with choice of rice & an egg roll or spring roll. Ordered Szechuan Beef (asked to have it spiced up)- fried rice & pork egg roll along with a margarita.

One of my top chinese food spots. Bamboo is why im on southside and staying lol. Great food at a great price. Large combo fried rice and cheese rangoon’s are my go too, order them every time. Lots of protein portions as well as veggies. Cheese filled Rangoon with sauce is delish. Everything on menu is great. Boba tea as well. Stop by and pig out if gotta chance.

We order delivery, and the food is always at a pretty high level for San Antonio. It takes a while sometimes, but we’re not close, and I just appreciate getting it. Everything we’ve had is good. Veggies and meat are always fresh and everything is always cooked well. Like their margaritas. Hot & Sour soup is the best I’ve had in town. Egg rolls are very good.

Sunday visit about 2pm, dinning room and lobby closed. Ordered food from patio door. Very busy with take out and delivery orders. Patio was comfortable with several fans, minor traffic street noise, modern music playing.

I ordered lunch & got their $3 boba. The boba is great, it is soft & chewy. The flavor was not too sweet. The food portions were massive for lunch. For those complaining the portion was “too small” you must be asking for WAY too much. The tofu & lo mein was great! The pad thai was okay. Obviously, they’re not a “thai” restaurant so I didn’t expect much I just wanted to try it. The fried rice is made plain for American standards so you definitely need to add soy sauce. The food is very greasy & will leave your stomach feeling heavy if you usually don’t eat like this.

Bamboo you’re great. But, please stop putting a cold soda can atop a bag of hot food for delivery. They’re always warm. Thanks
