Wonderful!! Interior and exterior beautiful. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff is very friendly. For drinks he had a Medalla and presidente which are very hard to find locally and he was very happy about it. I had a margarita and no exaggeration it was the best I have ever had!! I ordered two empanadas one was beef and the other local lions mane mushroom. The lions mane came with a chili that made it so moist and delicious. I preferred the mushroom to the beef but both were delicious!

No complaints at all. Signage on door walking in was very clear and understood. We came in for our 1 year anniversary reminiscent of our honeymoon in Puerto Rico. Food was great, service was great and atmosphere was great. For a family ran establishment, it is amazing. We will be coming back time and time again to support them!

Beef rib, pork fried rice and beans were good. Lecon asado was okay. Huge portions. Grouper empanada was okay but the cod fritters was very good. My friend said her shrimp Mofongo was okay. The margarita was okay as well. Need more tequila. Service was excellent . Music a bit loud.

Heaven! That’s what this place is! I haven’t been this blown away in a restaurant and their service in a long time!! 5 years to be exact!! Their food is amazing and for the price and what you get, words can’t even express. This place is a hidden gem. I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. Seriously you are missing out if you haven’t eaten here yet. Everything is homemade and the pastries were amazing too!!! I had the Carne Guisada (beef stew) with Arroz Con Gandules (rice) and Maduros. I did cut up the beef chunks but what you see in the top right corner of the chunks of beef is how is comes. It filled the container!

Just recently ate here with my boyfriend and LOVED IT. This restaurant has the best authentic Puerto Rican food. I got the chicken plate with fried plantains and everything was 10/10. It tastes so homey and delicious. I’m gluten free and the first thing I realized is their menus with clear gluten free and vegetarian options marked. Their portions are also huge and such a good price. Not to mention their kind staff and great atmosphere. This is definitely going to be one of our go tos!

Since Isla Verde has only been open for about a month now serving high quality Puerto Rican food in the Parker area I figured now was a good time to do a review having just got a chance to visit. I’ll cut straight to it, the food is great; it’s full of flavor just enough salt and the portions are ridiculously huge, like enough for lunch and dinner; which is what I did. The restaurant is not huge but the service staff is friendly the menu isn’t huge but has a lot of options and they do have a full bar which is a huge bonus. The bakery offers an absurd selection of delicious treats as well as savory empanadas, and they also have a coffee bar for an espresso or normal coffee of your choice. The one negative I have to say is I would like to see a small bottle of adobo at each table or at least provided upon request to pass around to your group. We went on a Sunday afternoon and while the service did take kind of a while, number one this is a newer restaurant trying to get familiar with the menu and customer frequency and number two we showed up with a 24 top that inevitably slammed this smaller mom and pop operation even with a heads up. If you’re in Parker right off of Main Street do yourself a favor and skip all of the regular fare and go a couple more blocks down to Isla Verde you will be pleasantly surprised by the friendliness, the food, and the atmosphere.

We are big fans of Mofongo, and Isla Verde’s Chicharron Mofongo is some of the best I’ve ever had. You have to go to Puerto Rico to find better. The wife loved her mushroom Mofongo, too. Our tasty empanada appetizers were so good they put a big, goofy grin on my face. Even our picky-eater four-year-old loved his chicken strips and French fries. He shoveled ’em down, man!

Awesome lunch! Son had the Cuban sandwich, I had a new Pastrami Sandwich. They were awesome and huge. Can easily share. Did not get to try the yummy desserts but they looked amazing. The staff were extremely nice and courteous, hard to find now a days. Great find.
