Place is very cozy and clean. Staff is great so nice and friendly. Food was delicious I had omelette breakfast hunny and boys had burgers. Bathrooms are also very neat and clean. They even offer feminine products for ladies in bathroom.

I used to be leery of small, local diners. That was poor judgment on my part. They’ve proven to consistently be THE BEST, and Papy’s proves it again. Clean, friendly folks, great food, cute aesthetic. Local places actually care about the customer base, unlike chains and franchises. I’ve decided to embrace a new hobby: one new small town diner per week.

Great breakfast and lunch! It’s well worth the drive from Ocala or Gainesville if you’re looking for real southern comfort food. I had the country fried steak and my husband ordered a chicken salad sandwich. Both were excellent and reasonably priced! The service was great too.

The staff and managers are great. We had a woman come in, she must have forgotten her clothes. She dressed like a sex worker. She made a seen about a man and had him removed. All the staff and customers had to listen to her carry on. Maybe if she didn’t show her entire body we could have enjoyed our meal
