We went with a family group of 8 adults and 2 children under 5. They wouldn’t seat us all together, not even side by side. They claimed it would tie up one server too long. So we had two different servers and were seated back to back. Sort of defeated the purpose of having breakfast together. Particularly because half of the group was from out of state. Other than that, the food was served quickly and was delicious.

What a wonderful surprise! We found this place after the Taylor Swift concert and LOVED it! Jean out server was fantastic. If were ever back in the area we’ll be back. Pancakes are huge- definitely can share. We got the blueberry strudel and red velvet pancakes.

Visited Honey Berry Cafe on a weekend trip to Chicago. The outside is misleading as it’s in a strip mall and the QR code and social media influencers on the windows take away from the curb appeal. BUT, once you step inside the atmosphere is totally welcoming and the staff is friendly. We had the Chorizo Chilaquiles, Fig & Bacon Omelette, the Signature Honey Berry Pancakes, and of course coffee. The food came out hot and fresh in a timely manner. The food was great with a blend of different flavors and textures. The coffee was hot a flavorful and they left a pot on the table for our use. We definitely will stop in again if we are in the area.
