I don’t usually leave reviews, but after trying Adelita’s I had to. I tried the chicken red tamale and the pork green tamale (as well as their salsa) and all I can say is wow. They were genuinely the best tamales I’ve ever had, everything was so full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Plus, the woman behind the counter was incredibly sweet. If you’re looking for quality tamales at a reasonable price, I’d recommend Adelita’s any day.

Best tamales ever, and very good spicy green chili. Friendly owner, very clean place, takeout only, it’s just a kitchen and a counter.

I’ve been visiting Adelita’s Kitchen since it opened back in October 2020, & I have to say that it has only gotten better & better with time. They truly put a lot of heart & effort into their food, which you can tell just by taste alone. I’m not even a big fan of tamales in general, but their tamales are on a whole other level. You will not be disappointed. All the other items are delicious as well, especially their chile rellenos. Also, the customer service is top notch & unbeaten from anywhere I’ve visited. Sandy is so attentive & sweet. It is so important to support small local businesses, so please support this one. They deserve it!

Not only is the owner the sweetest woman ever, the tamales and green chili is amazing! First time going there, I’ll be back every couple weeks to reload. Excited to try the other options next week!

Tamales (red and green), green chile, rice, and refried beans were wonderful. Great masa flavor; not dry and crumbly! Is now my go-to crew when needing to procure tamales for family events / large groups.

Frozen tamales once reheated have different flavor compared freshly made. Went in for a quick lunch but the taste was horrible. Only good thing is that they’re inexpensive. Perhaps if I eat there again and receive a fresher dozen then I certainly give it a better rating if they’re tasty as other people say.

Absolutely fabulous tamales!!!! The green chili pork tamale, beans and rice were the BEST I have had in Denver, ever! We will be back to buy a dozen authentic tamales. HIGHLY recommend.

If your schedule says that you open at 10am on Saturdays, you should be open at 10am on a Saturday. Not be walking in the door still having to set up at 10:10am.

This has become a go-to favorite. I’m hesitant to even post about this gem for fear it’ll be ruined. The chorizo is amazing…so good Los Arcos, the insanely popular Mexican place next door actually uses Adelitas’ chorizo and sauce. In addition to the chorizo, I’m particularly found of the veggie tamales and the chile rellenos…yum! And their refried beans are a staple in our refrigerator. Just heated some up for lunch
