We had an early dinner yesterday at the newly opened Churchill and Beers restaurant – took over the spot in Aptos where Sid’s used to be. It was AWESOME! We ordered the firecracker shrimp, the wings, and a margarita pizza, and everything was yummy. And their menu is extensive – definitely something for everyone – pizza, burgers, salads, sandwiches, great appetizers. Our server, Elaine shared that it was her first day, and she did a great job! One of the owners, Paul, came over to introduce himself and say hello – we couldn’t have felt more welcome! This will definitely be one of our local “go to” restaurants!

The pizza and service were both good. Our server was very attentive. The pizza combinations are typical flavors. No option for Carlito’s sausage with grilled onions and apples of course. The acoustics are pretty bad. Lots of hard surfaces so it’s hard to hear.

Great spot, with great staff everyone in there is very friendly, gives you a family vibe. The beer selection is good. We had a French Dip sandwich that was excellent, and when they packed the rest of it to go, they added a to go container for the Au Jus. The Reuben was just OK (too salty and a little dry) but should not have ordered it there. This is our third or fourth time there and the food has always been excellent.

The ahi tuna salad was amazing. I was treated like an old friend with amazing humble service from the start. Very nice and professional place. Next time I will try a burger. Hope you check them out.

C and B’s is great! Bar food done really well, mozzarella sticks are amazzze! Good local beers and wines, super friendly staff. Great spot to bring the family as well, Santa Cruz needs more down to earth places like this

This place is new, but it’s worth a shot. I have a feeling that everything will get better as they tighten up with age. Both of the owners introduced themselves tonight as we were sitting at the bar. Lots of beers on tap and drink choices to quench your thirst. We tried wings and nachos and they were both pretty darn good. They have woodfired pizza and burgers so I plan on giving both of them a try the next time I come in.
