The Philly cheesesteak at Phil’s was great. They even let us try a sample of “real pizza” to make it easy for us so that we could try both. The guy working the counter said that if we’ve never had this type of style of pizza in Philly that we’ve never had real pizza before. Sweet sauce on top of pizza, no other toppings. It was pretty good.

Great pizza. Sweet sauce, good amount of sauce, not too much cheese. Large slices. Good cheesesteaks too. Hard to find food like this outside of the city. Food was fast and cheap. $18 for a cheesesteak and 2 slices and took about 5 minutes.

Walked here from Devon Horse Show. I got grilled chicken Caesar Salad. Reasonably priced. I walked back to the show grounds, I was glad I stopped at Phil’s. Good was excellent. Stop by and judge for yourself. I’m not from the area so I have nothing to compare , but I was satisfied.

My cheese steak was dry. That sucks because I also ordered it for my twin boyz – the first time I’ve bought them CS. They were hungry and good boys so they ate it and I’m sure it was a classic CS they would be raving about it which I’m not sure they will but let’s see.

If you’ve ever ordered from Phil’s or just go inside to eat lunch, you’ll understand why it’s been around so long. It’s not one of those fancy schmancy spots, it’s a good ole pizza spot with the flavor to stand behind it!!!

The staff was not very friendly. Seemed to be very impatient and NOT helpful at all. They guy taking our order was pretty rude. I don’t want to say he was racist but it appeared that he was a lot nicer to some of the other non black people who entered the store. We ordered the sausage pizza. It was okay. You can only get one free refill on fountain drinks. If you use too many napkins or condiments you will be charged.

Awesome place to grab a phenomenal slice of pizza. I come here for lunch with coworkers sometimes and the staff recognize us and are always friendly. The pizza is the perfect level of crispiness and the sauce/cheese ratio is just right.

I’ve been a regular customer at Phil’s for 13 years since I moved back to the area and the stromboli’s and pizza has been phenomenal. Tom was a sweetheart and filled up my drink and took away my plate and cups. I always enjoy my visits and will remember to use cash next time to avoid the credit card fees.
