Everything we ordered was delicious and well executed. We ordered polenta with goat cheese and mushrooms, lamb chops, cod, and a French toast brûlée for dessert.

Reserved a table for 6 to celebrate a milestone birthday. (Two of us arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and were seated, but the rest of the party were running late. The restaurant was very accommodating given how busy they were.) The FOH manager(?) was very friendly, the hostess was friendly and professional, and our server, Ellis, was fantastic!

Located in the beloved old Madhatter’s location (RIP), Bar Loretta continues to rock the same level of excellence its predecessor was known for to perfection. Great food, killer drinks, just make a reservation because the secret is out: this restaurant is delicious.

Service was a bit slow. One bartender in general was a little too into the spirits if you know what I mean. All in all, not a bad bar. I did have to send one drink back but they aimed to impress afterward.

Love this spot. Good happy hour drinks (4-6 M-F) but the only food option is tatter tots or fries. Don’t miss the full menu. The food is excellent. At least order an app if you’re just here for happy hour. Polenta with mushrooms and goat cheese is not to miss. Brussels spouts are a flavor explosion.

I had initially given 5 stars, as my first experience was amazing. But then I went again and it was extremely disappointing. Despite making a 5pm reservation more than a week in advance, when we arrived (early) we were told we would either have to sit at a communal table between two other couples, or at the bar … we chose the bar. The bartender was arrogant, but the drinks were decent. Then I was brought the wrong meal. By the time the correct meal arrived, my husband had already finished his. Oh, and at the time we were finished eating, nearly half the tables in the restaurant were still empty – so we could have been given a proper table. They took off the cost of one drink – not nearly enough in my opinion. I will say, though, that my husband’s meal was quite delicious – the brick chicken.

Dropped in for late dinner and drinks during the week. Attentive service at the bar. Great cocktail selection and full dinner menu. Burgers and tots were good, but the fish and tomatillo shrimp entrées were not a hit among anyone in the group.

I can only highly recommend this fantastic venue in the King William district. It is really the place one can have a fantastic time. In our case, a small networking event around a table with awesome drinks. The food was equally scrumptious: The pork belly simply melted in my Mouth, and the Mac&Cheese was just perfect! The interior is really a superb combination of colors and cozy vibes. Our waitress Kassandra was really lovely and her good and kind mood contagious!

It’s was our first time here. We were greeted right away and sat promptly because of our reservation. The ambiance, deco, vibe and music makes this experience unforgettable. The food is delicious as well. They are well known for their famous polenta. We order the beet salad as second course, and pork chops paired with sweet potato mash. The service was excellent as well. The only problem is that tables are placed really closed to each other and it gets crowded really easy. Not suitable for claustrophobics. Definitely coming back but not during rush hour. Well done!
