Our experience here was great! The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. We got the Bourbon street chicken and the drunken chicken, and some bread pudding for dessert. The meal itself was well worth the cost too. I don’t think we’d get the bread pudding again, but we’d go out of our way to come back for the gumbo itself!

This was my 1st time foing to J Gumbo. J Gumbo is a nice spot to go if you’re out late and hungry. The bourbon chicken and bumblebee was amazing… I even put a little bit of sour cream in mine. The cashier was nice, let me sample the bumblebee first, and gave good suggestions.

First time going there and she gave me a sample of one of the gumbos. The lady who placed our order was helpful. Definitely will be back. Ask for cornbread with the gumbo instead of the french bread (I promise it’s worth it).

Actually has really good food! The bread was pretty buttery though, I’m not sure if i would choose to go there again over something like a picnic, or just a peanut butter sandwich. The workers gave me the WiFi password which was super nice of them.

Named J. Gumbo’s but they don’t serve gumbo. I got the jambalaya. The rice was mush and there were only three slices of sausage, two pieces of chicken, and one bay leaf. It was inedible. I’m giving the place three stars because my son liked the bourbon chicken.
