The coffee was strong. The crab and avocado egg rolls were like crab Rangoon x1000. The Orange Chicken wings were crispy and sticky. The star of the show was the Ube French toast. It was light and packed with real ube flavor. Love that they updated their hours to open earlier, we are early brunch people so we’ve been waiting to try them for a while now. The only complaint we had was the music. I’ve seen other reviews mention how good it was, today it was not. They were playing a kids bop type playlist that did not match the vibes at all.

Great atmosphere! I will definitely be back. Not as packed as some other Metuchen-based cafe’s and they are hospitable and explain everything on the menu to you. I got the s’mores french toast which had a delectable fluffy marshmallow filling. Despite all the sugar on the plate it wasn’t too sweet, much more balanced than I expected! They also have a plethora of Korean fried chicken dishes and sliders that I’m eager to try next time. Although I do wish the menu had a bit more variety, their food is delicious! Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Everything was delicious. Customer service was great, and staff was super friendly. The Korean fire chicken wings were huge and the sauces on them were amazing. The guava chili chicken sliders were crispy and juicy with just the right amount of sweet from the guava. The Korean BBQ chicken sliders were delicious as well. The ube float was sweet, almost like fruity cereal milk. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Nice, intimate experience. I had the chicken and waffles and the purple drink (I don’t remember the name). Food tasted great, however, the chicken was fried a liiittle too hard. Overall experience was nice.

This is a hidden gem in Metuchen! Saw the neon pink lights and had to stop by. Ordered the fried chicken & waffle, guava beef sliders with waffle fries, and ube float. Very impressed with the quality of the food. The chicken and waffles were so crispy. Loved the ube float, not too sweet and a perfect fit for the meal. Definitely plan to come back!

Some of the food is tops. The Karvacado is divine. I may stop in just for that. So much attention to detail and presentation. My 1 complaint was that the waffles were so thick the middle stays dry, which I could fix myself. And when waffles being too thick are your only complaint how could you give it anything other than 5 stars.

I hosted a brunch party and thought their French toasts would be such a cool addition despite not having tried them before. I got 8 orders of the Ube and s’mores and they were nice enough to put it into a tray pan and it looked great! Best part is they tasted amazing too 🙂 They were a hit at the party. Can’t wait to go back and try out the rest of the menu!
