Me and my family are currently staying at the campground here, and we went up to try out the restaurant. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They have several options available. They even offer ALL YOU CAN EAT CATFISH!!!! They bring it out to you fresh as you need it. Looks very good and they also have daily specials. Good pricing for portion sizes. My husband ordered the 2 pc grilled Cajun Catfish and veggies. I did feel like they could have given more veggies, but my husband said the catfish was great. My son ordered the cheeseburger n fries, and he said it was good. They gave a large portion of fries. My daughter ordered chicken tenders, onion rings, and fries. She said hers was also good. She couldn’t eat it all, so we had to get a box to go. I ordered chicken tenders and butterfly shrimp. It came with 3 tenders and 3 small butterfly shrimp. The shrimp was good. I just wish there had been a couple more pieces and maybe 1 less chicken strip, but it was all great. I was happy because they have my favorite chicken tenders. And their rolls and hush puppies were great. I put some of the tarter sauce they brought to the table with my hush puppies, and it was so good. I would recommend this place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. And the sunset was amazing watching from the patio area.

Stopped in after our trip to Cummings falls, not crowded, seated right away. Tried fried frog legs (for the first time) and they were so delicious! Then split a 5 piece catfish dinner. Very good !

My dad brought me here since we are visiting from out of state. He raved about the fish the last time I seen him. I ordered the 5 piece fish with hush puppies, coleslaw and a side salad. I also ordered a side of steamed veggies for my 1 year old. Only had 1 piece of fish to take home. I thought the bread on the fish was light and not overpowering like some breaded fish. You got more fish than bread. All my sides were delicious! My 1 year old really liked the fish too, she ate it right up. The service was top notch and the restaurant itself is beautiful with a pond and very clean.

I really wanted to love this place. As a Putnam County native, I had never been here before. The service was horrible. Yes, we ate there today when it was busy with the church crowd. But, our waitress brought our food and NEVER came back. No refills, never brought the check, never asked if we needed to go boxes, never apologized or anything. I had to ask another waitress to get our waitress, just so we could leave. I had to drink my grandsons old, sour tasting tea. Because, no one asked if we needed a refill. We also wanted dessert, but no one offered us any. My grandsons chicken nuggets were smooshy in the middle, the fries were brown and limp. Catfish had no flavor and the macaroni had no flavor. Captain D’s, Dispy Doodle and The Boatdock have better catfish.

Always a memorable trip for me and my 11 year old son coming from Nashville! You guys are doing an outstanding job. Restaurant is delicious and the fishing is always great. Facility and grounds very clean and well kept. I miss the fish filet service though. That made things sooo much easier. My son loves to keep what he catches and I am not very good at cleaning them! Keep up the good work you all!
