Update 8/12/22 so I was lucky this time I walked in and Steve the smoker was just pulling out the pork butt and I’m telling you if you don’t come down here and try it you’re crazy…. Really enjoyed this place family owned great story on why they opened the place. They are new to the business and they went above and beyond in hospitality. Food was good and the greens were ridiculously good. For a family that have never been in the business they did an excellent job I’m giving them four stars because I think they’re going to get better and better.,

What an amazing find. When I tell you it don’t get no better then this. The best place to go eat when your missing your grandmas cooking.. the ladies here are as sweet as pie. Sad to find out today was their last day open. Reason for that is no one wants to work.. y’all help keep this family owned restaurant open, go apply today or early in the morning…. They opened up this restaurant because their mother always wanted to have a sandwich shop unfortunately in 2019 their mother passed away.. year half ago they put their money together to open up this gem and sad to say they have to close because no one wants to work… I really wish I knew about this place before becauce this definitely would have been my go to When my mom, son and I have to go to my sons Dr appointments in Pensacola every month.. we definitely will already miss this place…

OK talk about a hole in the wall. I’ve driven by this place countless times and didn’t even know it was open. It’s extremely unassuming and has minimal signage. Interior is sparse but comfortable with a few scattered tables and booths. Service was prompt and food came up pretty quickly. Everything was tasty. Cuisine is Southern / soul food. We had meatloaf and pulled pork with various sides. The lady serving us was super friendly and accommodating and made some great suggestions for this meal and to try next time. Overall very good. Will definitely be back to try more examples.

The food was absolutely amazing. This was exactly what my sons and I were looking for. We got the catfish and wings. My only regret was I didn’t get more to go. I recommend anyone passing through to stop and try them out.

I had catfish and it was fried to perfection, my husband had meatloaf and he was very pleased. We sampled the ribs and pulled pork, the ribs did not even need bar b Que sauce because they were delicious plain. Good helpings of sides. Friendly staff. We will be back and tell all our friends.
