I really hope this place doesn’t close down. I never see anybody in here. Anyhow, the lunch sandwich combo is amazing. A pulled pork sandwich which is actually really good with a great bun, a side, cornbread and a drink for nine bucks. The place is clean, the tables all have their own condiments, there’s never a line, the bathrooms are clean, there’s parking, the soda machine always has ice, syrup and carbonation. It’s unbelievable. Please stay open. People of SLC, patronize this place, you’ll be glad you did. In full disclosure, I’d never buy any of their other meals because they are outrageously expensive but the sandwich combo is a great deal and it tastes good.

I was super disappointed in the food quality. I love Famous Dave’s, but this drive thru location is nowhere near the quality of their nicer restaurants. The food was obviously pre-made and didn’t seem fresh. They didn’t even have butter. I was told they don’t carry it. Super weird for a BBQ place.

The food was good, the chicken was done yet so I ordered brisket and pork with mac and cheese and peach cobbler for dessert. It was all very good, I was a bit shocked by the price. It’s a bit our off my price range. It was all very good food, even the corn muffin.

Food was good. Restaurant was clean. Staff was nice. The drive through is very convenient. If you are headed here, be aware you can ONLY access if headed north on State Street. If you are southbound, you will need to drive past it and U turn.

I’m not typically a fan of “family-style” chain restaurants, but this place is an exception. I’ve enjoyed Famous Dave’s in the past but wasn’t sure what to think of a drive-thru concept. I went since I had a gift card but unfortunately they had just opened and weren’t able to take those yet. I’m glad I ordered anyways.
