My wife and I stopped for lunch on our way from Ann Arbor to Grayling. We had the absolute best service from a mother and daughter team. The menu is terrific with lots of choices. For lunch we settled on fish tacos (with grouper) and a fresh corn beef sandwich. Take the time to stop by and enjoy great hospitality and good food.

First a word about Clare,MI: What a lovely town! About halfway between any decent drive “up north”. Shops bars restaurants and a famous Cops n Donuts shop for excellent pastries. I happen to know the summertime night life in this town pops!

Oh my Lord people, best food ever. Everything is homemade from the pita bread to the tortilla chips and bread. The shrimp tacos were fabulous and boyfriend said the cod was fresh and hot awesome, homemade batter. The service was phenomenal, MacKenzie was terrific. Just a really beautiful place. And not pricey at all. Had Feta dip with pita chips for appetizer — holy yum.

Our host, Hunter, at the door was very pleasant. Our waiter was new and you could tell. Mason was very nice but we never seen him. Food was ok. Burger was not well done as requested but we were never checked on the make sure things tasted well. We had to ask other waiters and waitresses for refills. It did not seem that the employees had just one job to focus on. They were all doing everything and it seemed chaotic with no one having one set job. Won’t hold that against them as they are only directed to do as management says. We waited 10 minutes for our card to get picked up and it never did. We ended up just throwing money on the table so we could leave. Giving 5 stars because the staff was pleasant when we did get to interact with them. There seems to be a need for better management and direction given to employees, though.
