I’ve been eating Pizza King pizza for over 60 years – from Whitaker (Owner Phil) to Munhall. I’ve eaten pizza at a number of other pizza shops including numerous out of state shops. Pizza King remains thee BEST pizza & our go to pizza when in the area. I still travel 1 1/2 hours one way to satisfy my pizza hunger. I know they have to have time off, but I like the option if in the area to have the best pizza around on a Sunday or Monday!!! Thank you Pizza King pizza!!!

I had the what must be the longest delivery ever! THE Pizza King himself sent me everything necessary to prepare their pepperoni…. in Seattle, a notorious wasteland for pizza, this was like a gift from the gods…. the sauce was unlike anything I’ve had before, the crust was perfect… Anyone close enough to hit Pizza King on a regular basis beware! This is one of the best pizzas you will ever encounter!

Ron definitely runs a great shop! Pizza is always on point. Clean… respectable.. great price… if you live in the area this is a pizza go to for generations. I’ve never heard a bad word about pizza King! The name definitely suites them!

Pizza isn’t the same since original pizza king left. Got a 12 cut today. Pizza was mostly burnt. Barely any sauce or cheese. Sad. This is 2nd time this has happened since new ownership. And the owner is a good dude. Might just have to retrain the cooks to include actual sauce on the pizza and not to burn 3/4 of it

I can see why this place has a loyal fan following for its pretty unique pizza. For me the rich deep flavor of the sauce took it to the level that I would say yeah I’ll eat that again (not spicy hot just very flavorful, a little garlicky and salty and balanced tomato flavor). And not oily or greasy. The crust is not my personal favorite type, but I can see why people like it – on the light and airy side, as one person said it almost melts in the mouth. The crust edge is crispy, but not the kind that’s like a big chunk of Italian bread that you really have to bite through.

Always quality food served here. Traditional square cut pizza with the signature sauce that keeps people coming back. Hoagie specials offered on Wednesday’s and Thursdays currently. New owner Ron took over operations here recently and has been making improvements ever since. Nice clean and bright shop. Keeping the Pizza King experience alive after all those years ago in Whitaker PA. 50+ years ago. still going strong and actually better than ever!
