Very quaint and quiet place. The food came out fast and was delicious. The outside seems a bit sketchy but don’t let that deter you, we took a chance on going in because of another reviewer and I’m so glad we did! Definitely a nice little sushi spot.

Try this place!!! Their food is always delicious and so fresh! We enjoy ordering their ramen and most recently we ordered from their hibachi menu- all wonderful! Their salads and cooked veggies are always very fresh. They are very close to home for us and we enjoy ordering takeout from them. We’ve never eaten on premises but my husband says it seems really nice in there.

I remember this location as a nice Italian restaurant many years ago. The building and interior has deteriorated quite a bit since then. But our waitress was nice and the food excellent. $8 martinis are tough to beat as well. None of us had the sushi but the spicy beef dinner I had was very good. Doesn’t look like they have too many eat in diners. We were the only people there at 7 on a Saturday night. Excellent place for takeout and a friendly place for eat in if you don’t mind the shabby interior.

Umi has never let me down, not even a little bit. Everything I’ve ever ordered from here has been 10 out of 10. Rice, fish, noodles — all fantastic! Have yet to dine in, but I’d love to eventually.

I’m a real basic spicy salmon, spicy crab roll kind of guy, and didn’t imagine there was much difference in that no matter what sushi place you go to, but umi really hit it out of the park.

The sushi was okay but I’m kind of disappointed that the rolls did not come how they were listed. I ordered a spicy cooked shrimp roll and it didn’t come with anything in it except what looks like fried batter. There were no vegetables and the tiniest pieces of shrimp and it’s definitely not spicy! I also ordered a spicy crabmeat roll and it looks and tastes almost exactly the same as the other roll I listed above. If there’s a next time maybe it will be better
