I love this place. It’s just simply good. Warm chips and salsa are always fantastic. The drinks are delicious! Seriously! My husband and I always share the nachos and they are just simple and great. I highly recommend for just a yummy, quality meal. It can get a little packed at dinner time, but if you come on the off times, it’s perfection!

I went in and placed my simple order of a burrito. I always ask if the food comes with cheese, which it does, and I asked them to please leave it out. Simple request nothing complicated about it. I get my food and in my first bite was a mouthful of cheese. As someone who cannot have cheese and I do not like the taste of cheese, I am very disappointed in the service. Thankfully I don’t have an allergy to cheese but now I have a burrito that I cannot consume. The food smells amazing but I don’t think I’ll be coming back or recommending this place to any of my friends. Very well deserved 1 star.

server left us dangling several times. we had to wait for a cook & another server to give our bill, and hand us to-go boxes bc our server was too busy yapping it up with another customer at the bar – thing is she took forever to check to see when we needed check even though it was obvious we were done eating & sitting for a while for check. also, the fly situation was out of control. 2 flies kept harassing our table of food – landing in it, being complete nuisances. it made the restaurant feel filthy and worker’s there aren’t approachable & after seeing our server gabbing it up with bar customers we see why restaurant health hygiene is an issue.

Horrible food! My first and last time ever eating there. I’m surprised at the number of people saying that it’s good. Mexican dishes with zero Mexican flavor. Even the guacamole was bland. I ordered a carnitas torta. The carnitas were dry with no flavor and I couldn’t pick my sandwich up to eat it because the bottom bread was so soggy. I have never left a review for a restaurant before but the food was so bad. Mexican food is flavorful. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, look somewhere else. This food has no flavor. My daughter ordered simple tacos and only ate one and she loves tacos.

Ordered chili rellenos and boy were they good. STUFFED with cheese. The only way to eat them and it’s hard to find as most restaurants only use a little bit of cheese. Salsa is so good too.

Definitely go check this Cantina Style Grill out. Have a drink at the bar. They open up the garage door style window to let the fresh air in. Can be busy at times. Great Service. Excellent Flavor profiles on the food. Grabbed Ceviche to go which was great later.

First time here at the new location. Very impressed with Papis at River Walk. Super excited for this location. The food has been delicious, different options to choose from. Drink are very well priced and also have so much to choose from. Friendly host and waiters, I chose the bar which is very fun to be at. 2 nice big TVs to watch all the games!
