Overall, the pizza was the best thing that I ate at this restaurant. The fries were over cooked and the avocado salad lacked seasoning. Given that it is a pizza place, I’d say they know how to make a good pizza. Otherwise, the side dishes were just okay. I’d recommend this place for their pizza and the service.

We tried the Mac and Cheese Pizza at Za and it was pretty tasty! A bit too much onion for my personal taste but definitely a fun pizza nevertheless. The staff was very friendly and the order was ready on time. Although we ordered for takeout, the staff kindly let us eat it on the restaurant’s outdoor patio and even brought us napkins. The kind service was much appreciated!

The pizza at Za is pretty good. They’re a good size to split with one person or for yourself. I got the pepperoni pizza and enjoyed it. The service was atrocious. During a work lunch at Za, the server barked at us that he was “the only one on and we better have our drink and order ready when he comes back.” That was the only time we saw our server except for when the check came. It said on the menu parties of 6 or more would get a 20% automatic gratuity, which I am fine with, if we see our waiter. He never came to ask how the food was and the manager had to give us a refill, after we tried multiple times to flag our waiter down. Lastly, when the check came we asked if he could split the check and he laughed in our face and said “if you have another 45 minutes.” We figured it out among the group and he was promptly back to swipe a card. He then weirdly remarked, “you guys must be tourists wanting me to split the check.” To which we replied “no.” He chuckled again and said, “ oh you just must not be from around here.” To which we also replied, “we’re all from Boston, we work around the corner.”

Super great food and friendly people – I have always enjoyed everything I got here. My favorites are the arugula salad and potato pizza. Everyone was super nice and the service has always been quick. The bartender is amazing and great atmosphere to sit at the bar. Highly recommend!

For some reason I didn’t feel too compelled by the food and the combination of toppings, but it was alright. However I seemed to enjoy much more taking the leftovers home and microwaving it, so maybe the food was a bit cold when I tried at the restaurant

Medium crust dough, abundant toppings, and good cheese portions. Tried the old school potato pizza and the beef bomb pizza. I personally enjoyed the beef bomb more as its toppings tasted more balanced/ harmonious. The potato pizza was okay but it was a little bland overall – definitely recommend getting some sauce on the side.

The pizzas here are different in a good way! My pizza was full of flavour and the crust was very tasty. They have a good set of options but I strongly recommend the Portobello. We got pick up but when we went to see the restaurant the vibe looked very social and fun!
