We were greeted on arrival, staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant atmosphere was cool, nicely put together place and it also has a full bar which is an added pleasure ! Food was great, it was our first time so the girl behind the counter recommended the 3 meat plate which also came with 2 sides & a bread. We tried the brisket, the pulled pork & the ribs. Flavors were great on all 3 options. Mac and cheese and green beans were also good! Overall great experience. We will definitely be back.

I’ve eaten at Dickey’s in Texas and New York. Its decent fast barbecue. Not amazing, just decent. This location however was subpar. I might be back because the food was standard Dickey’s. I do hope the service improves and the seating area is cleaner.

Been here twice and both times the customer service was outstanding. They a friendly, even in a busy situation. The food is also great. Had the brisket, friend okra (which is a very generous portion) and the mac n cheese. Will continue to visit and next time sure to have a brew.

What a disappointment my first visit was. We’ve all been longing for more restaurants in the Lake Shore area and I had high hopes. Sadly they were hopes and this isn’t the answer. I got the Giant potato and while it was large, the brisket was room temperature and had no flavor at all…No comparison to Mission BBQ. The potato itself wasn’t even room temperature, it couldn’t even melt the super thin cheese. The potato could have used more baking as parts were a little too hard. It doesn’t come close to comparing to the “Plain Jane” at Jason’s Deli – one of my favorite baked potatoes.

I’m giving 2 stars because I was impressed with the chicken breast as they are easy to overcook whilst barbecuing however, the other two meats were very dry, as if they were both left over from the previous day. It’s really hard to mess up pulled pork but I couldn’t even finish it, had to get extra bbq sauce from my fridge to make it edible. What was most disappointing was the “brisket” . It had the look, taste, and texture or a left over Chuck roast, no fat (flavor) and cut with the grain. Also seemed like it was either made the night before or that morning and had been sitting all day. The okra was quite bland as well but a little Crystal sauce helped out. I really wanted to like this place but looks as though I have to stick with Mission.

Staff was nice, The Brisket and Pulled Pork wasn’t great… it was bland… only thing that was good was the Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage which they literally give you a couple slices… Potato Casserole was literally Mashed Potatoes with some bacon on top, no cheese or anything. Coleslaw thank god was horrible, but it is just Coleslaw.
