This place is a European GEM! I was born in Poland and this is a true taste of home. The food is incredible and that says a lot because my mom was a great cook.

We tries the soup combo with the cabbage roll and the #1combo with the perogies. The Borscht soup was great and not what I thought it would be. The tomato dip for the perogies was so good we used it on our other dishes as well. Great service and we will be back

Absolutely amazing food! The staff is friendly and helpful. My favorites were the cabbage ball, dumplings, and smoked sausage, but it was all great. Can’t wait to go back.

My dining partner is part Polish and I was hoping that we might find food like “his mother and grandmother used to make”. He is very shy on compliments but ate every drop of soup, every morsel of perogie smoothered in bacon/onions/sour cream and sampled a little of my pork with cherry sauce and baby potatoes! He agrees that we should drop by again and try a few more dishes. I think that he was very happy.

The food here is brilliant, rich and flavorful. The Solyanka(sp) soup and the cherry braised ribs are a must have, and the pierogi and hunters stew feels like someone handed you a bowl of home. If you need food that gives you a hug, this is your place.

The food was excellent!! Had the creamy mushroom soup, potato salad, honey cake, and my sister took home the borscht for her husband.

Hole in the wall sort of joint, and signage not easy to see from the road, but well worth trying, as the food is very authentic, and the proprietors are very friendly. Try borscht, some potato dish, and wash it down with kvass, and you will be glad you came. As it is in the name the sausage is pretty good as well, and of course so is the hunter’s plate. Many choices available. It is a small place, so won’t work for large parties, but for smaller outings a nice way to have some affordable authentic Russian and Eastern European food.
