A regular lunch spot for me and my friends. Canopied outdoor sidewalk tables plus indoor seating. Good, friendly service, but a bit understaffed. Still, wonderful dishes, especially the lunch salads and sandwiches.

What a great spot! Service was fast and friendly. This kale salad was amazing. Loved the manchego cheese on it. Great touch. The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly – seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to be back and explore the menu!

We came here for dinner. Most of the seating is outside, but we sat inside, which was perfect for us. I ordered the Steak Salad ( $22) which came beautifully presented, but the dressing drenched the salad. The steak was perfectly cooked. I ate all the steak! Next time, I will ask for the dressing on the side. My friend ordered the Turkey Burger ( $20) which was tasty, sloppy and a bit on the smoky flavor. She said she would not order it again. The curly fries were very tasty!

The food was nice. One dish was Grandma’s hash. It was a little bit over spicy. It came with a scrambled egg on top. I feel the dish would of been better with an over easy egg. To break an egg yolk into that hash would of been special! The second dish was a wonderful Turkey burger. The restaurant has a nice neighborhood feel to it. The Staff…. well the staff are not professional. When you pay top dollar you expect Pro Waiters. Don’t get me wrong the staff is nice but nice is nice. And nice, does not make the food taste better.

I was honestly disappointed in this place. I took my mom for lunch on a Monday afternoon and the place was completely empty. We ordered the steak salad with a Bloody Mary and a fish and chips. The Bloody Mary was supposed to come with a Tajin rim and bacon and came absolutely plain. The overall flavor was fine but it just wasn’t what I was expecting. The steak salad was actually pretty good, I had seen other reviews of beautiful presentation on that dish which encouraged me to buy it, however it felt thrown together when I ordered it. The real let down was the fish and chips. The fish came out rubbery and soggy, and just tasted very plain overall, even with lemon and tartar sauce. Despite the place being completely dead no one came to check on us to ask us how our meal was or if they could replenish anything. It was only after the check was brought out that they offered to refill our waters or offer any sort of customer service. I was so excited to try this place based off other reviews but I will not be coming back again. To top it all off the staff was gossiping at the bar about other staff members the entire duration of our meal which just created an unpleasant dining experience.

This is a great little spot in Santa Monica for a small and intimate experience. The food is delicious and great for sharing several small plates. The service is excellent and the prices are really fair. I recommend getting their Chicken Pesto Sandwich. It’s clear that they make it themselves from scratch and the pesto is delicious!
