Service was horrible. Its my first time trying this place. The ladies that took my order were rude and were rushing. Mind you there was no line so no one behind for them to have to rush. I ordered a goat plate for $15 barely got maybe 3 or 4 pieces of goat and mostly bone it also came with rice and little bit of cabbage. Then 2 plates of brown stew chicken for $9. They are super stingy with there Is food portions. No cornbread like most places have to pay $2.50 for the cornbread which wasn’t great either. Rice was mushy and nasty. The goat was tough and the chicken was dry. This is the first time I been to any jamaican restaurant that was this bad. The worst part was after a few bite of the rice I realized the rice was spoiled. Had to throw all my food away. I call up there they told me no refund and hung up.these people care nothing about their customers. Needless to say I’ll never come back. If you go make sure you check your food cuz your rice or food could be spoiled. There are alot better jamaican restaurants in polk don’t waste your time at this one.

This was the best Jamaican food I have ever had the pleasure of eating and I have literally been to Jamaica and to all islands in the Caribbean with similar cuisine. I cannot rave about this place enough…they deserve to get out of the mall and have their own stand-alone restaurant! Get the oxtail:)

Can’t believe we have no pictures of the food but trust me that everything was DELICIOUS . Everyone oooohhed and awwwed until it was all gone. There were no leftovers . We did go into the Lakeland Mall location to place the order and they were awesome with details and communication. We recommend the oxtails and the jerk chicken. Will definitely use them again.

BEWARE!!! Smell your food BEFORE you PAY!! I will no longer support this business! This place is usually my go to spot for good Jamaican food now I can no longer trust them. I ordered my usual oxtails and rice and added a side of jerk chicken the smell of the jerk chicken was strong and smelled spoiled to the point it turned my stomach. When I went back to let them know the chicken was smelled spoiled they was very rude and made it seem as though it was just me not once did he try to smell the chicken to see what I was talking about but insisted that the chicken just came out the oven. Yeah spoiled chicken just came out of the oven sir. In the process of me getting a refund the lady proceeds to point at the sign that says NO REFUND and tell me next time be mindful of the sign. You have to sell food that someone could actually eat and I won’t have to worry about a refund! Not once did they apologize or even check on the chicken so smell your food before you leave you might get stuck with spoiled chicken and bad customer service! If you decide to catch them on a good day order the curry goat or oxtails stay away from the chicken!

I give Jamaican Delight a 5+ Star lil restaurant stop located in mall and I absolutely love this place, Amazing food and Service… Listed in photos I share a picture of a small portion of their delicious curry chicken and potatoes at this time of me eating this meal I had been diagnosed with bells palsey… Much better with recovery now but I state that Specifically bc I was unable to chew and eat properly so for those that love Jamaican food as much as I do their food is soft and amazing… So go try it!!
