While visiting Reelfoot Lake for a fishing trip, a friend and I went looking for dinner. We found this place on Google maps and drove the 20 minutes to give it a try. Upon arrival we were skeptical as the outside of the building didn’t have much curb appeal. But the parking lot was full of cars so we decided to go in and check it out. My friend and I both ordered bacon cheeseburgers with fries. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Probably one of the best burgers out of a restaurant I have ever had. Freshly ground and smashed on the grill just like at home. Neither of us could finish these extra large burgers. Large homemade pie selection by the slice or whole. The sweet tea was perfect. And only $20 for 2 plus tip. We will probably return there every night for the rest of our trip. I definitely recommend this small, unassuming “greasy spoon” if you are in the area.

Wonderful family restaurant off the beaten path. The food is delicious and the pies are homemade daily. It is well worth the drive. The fish plate is just as good or better than any in the area including Reelfoot Lake.
