We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Both my friend and I have been to Zimbabwe, so this was a particular treat. We had oodles of questions but, unfortunately, the staff on duty were not from Zimbabwe. Still, we had a nice time, it has a nice atmosphere and good food.

Great food, great presentation, and most of all, great people! The space itself is a little plain, but I like that you can see the kitchen and parking is easy. Will definitely be back! Dovi chicken and peri peri chicken pictured below. Beef samosas were yummy as well.

Zweli’s was a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious. Jollof rice was a bit dry but still flavourful. The samosas were crispy and seasoned well. The plantain was also good. My braised oxtail was tender and juicy. Some people in the party didn’t want spicy food and the staff was very accommodating with the request. The food took a while to come out but everything seemed fresh.

Really enjoyed the food here! I came on a weeknight and there was no wait for a table. I got the oxtail stew and it was incredibly flavorful! My partner got the dovi chicken and he really enjoyed it to, although I definitely liked the stew a lot more. The plantains made a good appetizer and we enjoyed trying the jollof rice and the sadza as well. Definitely recommend trying it at some point if you’re in the triangle area! Service was a bit slow even though it didn’t seem busy, but server was very friendly.

I really like the decor and ambience this place has created. It’s got a neat mix of outdoor rural flair but is still nice and clean. Food was good and I’d recommend the African soup dishes. The Pickled onions were delicious as well as the spicy beans. Oh, and also the fresh strawberry lemonade. You could see the strawberry seeds at the bottom so you know it’s fresh pressed.

Absolutely loved this place so much that I’m sitting in the parking lot writing this review. Firstly, the food was incredible. We had the shrimp kebobs to start. Jumbo shrimp well seasoned and paired with tomato and red onion. I had the dovi tofu, my sister had the piri piri chicken with collards and the sadza. All of it was amazing. We also tried the magwinyas -both stuffed and sweet and they were amazing. They also made some sweet potato samosas last minute fresh for us. We had the honor of meeting the owner who was so kind. We had the sweetest server (Yolanda I believe?) and she was so charming and provided wonderful service. We are so glad we came here and we’re looking forward to returning!

Delicious. Nice ambiance. No ideal this little gem was in this shopping center. Great flavors. The chicken was moist and mildly spicy and ended with a fruity note. The curry cabbage was just delicious. I look forward to going back.

This was the first time I’ve ever tried Zimbabwean food and I am hooked! Our server, Chelsea, was so welcoming, well-versed with the menu, and attentive.
