Had A lil taste of soul for the first time ever yesterday at a festival. I had the shrimp mac and cheese and the portions were so generous I had enough for leftovers. So delicious, and well seasoned. I wish I could have this everyday!

Found them for the first time today at the festival on the Levee. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made the experience that much better. Shrimp and grits took me back to when my grandmother made them for us growing up and you can’t put a price on that. Amazing soul food is hard to come by but if you see these amazing people working hard give their food a chance you won’t regret it!

I recently tried this place at a food truck festival. I got the salmon bowl with grits. I’m not even a salmon eater but this right here made me change my mind. 10/10. So good my mom and I went to another event just to have them again.

Hands down the best food truck food I have ever eaten! Had the salmon and grits bowl….the salmon was cooked fresh and exactly right and the seasoning was delicious! My husband is a picky eater and he loved the shrimp and grits. Highly recommend! I will be looking for THIS truck at future events!
